Radio's showing 1000 on it, i'm guessing it just needs a code , hasn't said "safe" or anything like that. Friend changed battery for me , and well thats why i'm here :O)

The member is saying you need to read the eprom and upload the dump. Eprom is were the code of the unit is stored. if you not familliar with this than I would suggest take it to your local decoder who will do it for you.
