Fiat Punto Blaupunkt Radio Code - Help!

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, in fact this is the first forum I've ever joined! So, forgive me if this plea for help isn't framed properly.

I've had a Fiat Punto (year 2003) for the last couple of years and then out of the blue yesterday it asked for a code before it would turn the radio on. It'd never done this before, so I've no idea what the code would be.

I've whipped the radio out to get a look at the serial details, please see below.

Have another look at your radio, and post the 14 digit BP serial number beginning with BP2375...... With Fiat there is sometimes the number 815 preceeding this, but just ignore.

The serial number is often also stamped on the metal casing
itself.

Then members will be able to help with code.

It is common for this model to have been
re-coded

using the same algorithm for your model of radio in the past.

Your options will be either posting the dump, or using the
services of a radio decoder.

Hi Everyone!
It's my first time here so I don't relly know if I'm writing in the correct section or stuff like that so my apologies for that, fell free to move the thread etc. in case it is needed.

I was trying to sell the radio of my Abarth Grande Punto 2009 with Blaupunkt Radio Unit, and one interested guy told me about this code that I should have somewhere because it was given to the first owner of the car (but I bought it used :( ) and basically he needs it to activate my Radio in his car.
So I started looking around for this but nope, no code anywhere and also online i couldn't find anything that seems "legit", but then I asw this GIGANTIC Thread with a lot of people that solved the issue so maybe someone that knows the "trick" can help me.

My Radio is a BLAUPUNKT (Fiat 199 MP3 SB05 SMALL 2 Abarth)

The "Problem" is that as soon as I don't find someone that actually comes to my place to install the radio unit knowing that MAYBE the code could work I cannot test it out.
I was thinking about attach the Radio to an external PSU, so maybe since it doesn't detect the car it will ask for the code.

you might want to do a cancheckoff but for that you need to read the radio eprom and upload it to the forum
