Hi guys, i have a trick to make all sirius 32 start. After programming the 29F200, i lift the pin number 43 from 29f200 (Write enable#) and i connect to 5V (pin number 23 from 29F200). The engine starts and when the ecu wants to modified the 29F200, it won?t because we disable the writing. Make sure that you program a good dump from the correct engine. I have 4 categories.
- 1.6 8V with A/C
- 1.6 8V without A/C
- 1.6 16V with A/C
- 1.6 16V without A/C
These are all engine types with sirius 32 in my country.
I use one dump for categories, so i only keep in my desktop 4 files.
If someone want any (or all) immo off dump from this ecu, PM me.

this solution is for Sirius 32 only (i didn?t test in sirius 34 but i think it won?t work because sirius 34, as the sirius 3132 are CAN BUS systems)

I have a bit of a problem, maybe someone can help.
I did all this (lift WR, connect to 5, cut pin 58)but the car doesnt start.
immo light on dashboard goes off, I cleared files with immo off and data explorer and loaded both on different ocasions but car wont start.
another thing, I had 1 cleared ems 3132 and try it on one car and started ok, now i try on different car and it is dead.
car i am trying is 100% working.
any idea.

Open the ecu, remove the 29f200 eeprom, read with an eprom programmer (say UPA) rewrite with .ori and solder again.

PS: I unrared the ile, and found Two, one with NO IMMO, and second is with Immoff, files are same.

The second ecu gave me a runner.(Engine light on permanently)
With this ecu car won't even switch off.

Will try another two ecus that i have later this week.

Upa can't read this flash mate, Upa is for eeproms, mcus, but not flash, you need another programmer like LAbtoo, or xeltek or beeprog...

You can make the 5V... Get a positive voltage regulator at 5V or a 5.1V zener with current limiting resistor.
But if you do not make your life hard, you can always have a second look at pcb or read some datasheet... :D

This works made virgin with Reno Immo tool, i did a sirius 32 16v for a scenic with that . No need even to open the case of the ecu. But you need emu if you have no keys or uch ( ucbic ). This solution works, if you want to wait for immo off file for your ecu it`s up to you.

After keeping ecu on Reno immo tool ( total time ~6 hours ) control it with ddt. You can see two cases :
1. Code NON APPRIS ( this means virgin ) AND Ecu VERROUILLE ( this means you need emu OR keys + uch to put the ecu in NON VERROUILLE state , meaning you can start the car ), after that state of ecu becoming code appris ;
2. Code NON APPRIS AND Ecu NON VERROUILLE ( this means ecu can work without emu or keys + uch, but this case is on the older ecus, newer never work with code not learned, keeping VERROUILLE state until you learn something in it )
3. Code APPRIS means your viginisation opperation didn`t succeed, you must read-virgin-rewrite the prom 29f200 manual ( just a little difficult, but just a little ! )

Translation french - english : Verrouille = protected, locked ; Appris = learned.

Sure, if you take flash from old damaged ecu and put it into the second hand ecu, car will start.

Doesn't the ecu store fault codes in the 28f200. If it does, and i think it does then if you connect the pins 43 and 23 you will never have any fault code even if your car is faulty.

I don't have a flash because there is no ecu I have one from a 1.6 which I plan on using.

My opinion, it doesn`t seem to me being an ecu problem. Car starts, so key-UCBIC/UCH-ECU works, no problem with immo.
Put a tester on that car and see the faults old or present and you sure will see errors on an engine sensor or other like that.
Forget about immo, read the faults and act accordingly.
I`m pretty sure you have engine faults requiring your attention.

What dump did you use ? A dump from the net ?
I these cases as yours, I`ve always said it is BEST to virgin your OWN dump, read 29f, virgin dump, write back 29f, use EMU and your engine will run as new !
Using dumps from other ecus, external looking similar is a mistake. When i was a beginner i used to do like that, and the engine started but worked bad, lack of power, ECU errors showed by diag tools.
Now i virgin my dumps and make as i said above and i got rid of all those problems.

Car didn't start, UCH is not working.

Desoldered and programmed flash with sirius32 1.6 16V with A/C dump, that was put up to the beginning this post. Car started fine, but engine ran fine only until it has warmed up, from there, car lost power.
I am out of emulators, so I have to solve the problem without that, if possible.

Desoldered and programmed flash with sirius32 1.6 16V with A/C dump, that was put up to the beginning this post.



So you wrote other dump, not yours . This is first mistake.
Did you diag your engine with a diag tool ? DDt2000 or clip ? Read the faults ? Because you will find faults, historycal and present. If no, this is the second mistake.

Why you run off an EMU ? This i don`t understand.

You have your answers, more i have nothing say. It`s time to put hands on tools and go to work !

Yepp, but are you sure the ECU mapping is okay?
Is there any data in the flash that is response for mapping / engine running?

And yes, every byte in that 29f flash is responsible for good working of the engine. There are written a series of maps concerning rpm limit, injector timing control, spark timing control, temperature control and many others.
How do i know your dump written suits your engine ? I do not shuffle maps from an engine to other because this give headaches !

Galetto is for tuning ecus, not for reading all flash ! You can`t read all the flash with galetto, only tuning sector, 32kB, not all flash 256 kB. So extract it read, rewrite with a immo off or virgin dump, that`s all !
And put it back of course ! :o

Hi guys, i have a trick to make all sirius 32 start. After programming the 29F200, i lift the pin number 43 from 29f200 (Write enable#) and i connect to 5V (pin number 23 from 29F200). The engine starts and when the ecu wants to modified the 29F200, it won?t because we disable the writing. Make sure that you program a good dump from the correct engine. I have 4 categories.
- 1.6 8V with A/C
- 1.6 8V without A/C
- 1.6 16V with A/C
- 1.6 16V without A/C
These are all engine types with sirius 32 in my country.
I use one dump for categories, so i only keep in my desktop 4 files.
If someone want any (or all) immo off dump from this ecu, PM me.

These are the dump for the 4 categories, REMEMBER: CUT WIRE 58.

Extract flash 29f200 and read it, i guess it can be readable, it`s the best dump you can find. You have nothing to loose desoldering that flash and try to read it.
After reading the flash you virgin it and write in the new ( sh ) good Sirius and that`s all.

Lift the pin 43 (!write enable) and bridge with a wire to the 23 (vdd) We are talking about the 29F400 flash eprom right?

Hi Olecram . I have to say that the 1,6 dump does not work very good on the 1,4 engine.It works perfect on 1.6 engines . Customers complains lack of power. Difference between 29F400 and 29f200 is that are size double.
The pinout 29f200 and 29F400 is identical, just 29F400 has extra A17 address and this is localized at pin 3 and at 29f200 pin 3 is not connected.
To use instead of 29f200, 29F400, connect pin 3 to ground (pin 13) or + (pin 23) and write flash memory in the first half or in the second half.

I have renault Kangoo MUX X76 2005 with No ecu at all !! Ecu was lost, and we brought me the car as is, so wondering which one could fit, this car should be CAN based, so wonder if immo off can be possible. Is there a trick to find out which ecu is CAN or not ?! since for example, EMS3132 can be Can or Kline based !!
