Welcome
Came to me this message DIESEL ADDITIVE MINIMUM LEVEL
I went to services in an FAP filled the tank and continues to be the same message
Servis does not know what it is (probably not working sensor)
need help where to find how to fix it

Did they reset the additive computer?
If it's a Citroen dealer they should know what to do.

It was authorized Citroen servis (rather reset)
They want to replace the entire tank with a new (but what you can fix it or how to fool the sensor)
How do I check where it resets the state of lexia FAP (Lexia3 I go to college and can reset it, please step by step where to do it)

the procedures are different depending on whether the FAP controller is a separate unit or integral to the ecu, check bsi config.
On both types the reed switch for filler cap detection should work but removing the battery lead for a while causes the system to reset and prime. (NOT reset the counters though)

If Citroen has reset the counters it also can be the additive sensor in the additive tank and than you have to buy a complete additive tank, because the sensor can't be replaced. It can also be the additive ecu. The first series were buggy and sometimes gave "additive to low" signal altough it was not.

i have a 2.2.HDI with the FAP and had similar problems. Took to dealer refilled tank and freplaced U/S cap sensor and reset.
About 200 miles later message back. Dealer reset again about 500 miles same again. Dealer wanted to replace ECU and tank etc
Borrowed a ACR and correct pod it would reset Filter counter but not additive counter (No sensor on later type additive).
Gave up and purchased a clone Interface and Peugeot Planet. Followed reset procedure and same as above. Then i just ran the replace ECU routine put same codes etc in and fluid level as full etc and been fine since.

There is a float in the tank Cerina, the ECU is only theoretical calculation of liquid consumed mun.
The wires that are above to the tank additive, are the pump for inject Cerina in the diesel tank.
Once filled Cerina simply delete the counter value (Cerina injected into the tank) this in the additive ECU, if it exists, otherwise the menu telecodifica engine ECU.

There are lots of things that can cause this problem, as has been said earlier the early additive ecus fail quite often.
I have recently replaced 2 tanks due to this problem, it seems to be a problem when the level of fluid in the tank gets low for a while, I can only assume that the sensor doesnt like being exposed to air for very long.
In both cases the owners had ignored the low fluid warnings and waited until the car went into limp mode before dealing with the problem.
You need to check all the live data with to see what is wrong

hi all, well i filled my pug 206 gti hdi up today, the warning came on mid week to say additive was low, anyway filled it today, put 2 ltrs then reset the counter to 0, hey presto bugger all happened, still saying low additive and to add another headache got an airbag light on when i got home with the dog, plugged it in again and said speed sensor info wrong, thats a headache for anothe day though, is their only one counter to reset, what about the quantity you put in, on my sandre their is a table regarding the amount in litres to grams, ie 2.1 litres =100 grams, is their somewhere to put that number in so the ecu knows it now has 100 grams left, the used amount was 85 before i reset it, any help to get shot of this additive flashing up every 5 mins would be a great help., thanks in advance
