You have already installed hht, to change language you need to open file hhtwin.ini, it is located in c:\windows and erase every line that has scn letters, you save that ini file and after when you start hht you will be prompted to choose language. I am writing this from memory cause actually i don't have any DAS installation at the moment so i am not able to tell you exactly

Sorry i misinformed you, i checked in my notes and this is what you need to do: Go to C:/Windows/hhtwin.ini and delete these lines!

SPC=02
SPCN=02
SPCP=02

He does not have to delete these lines. He want to change the language of HHT.
Just change the numbers. "02" stands for english. "00" stands for russian.
There was complete list of these numbers in the old forum.

Some language pack extension are dbz, others are dbu.
Who knows what is the difference between that extension?

Sorry OOT,

And by what editor can I edit it?

I try to make it for my country language that is not supported yet.

Thanks

no, you guys are getting carried away.
hht does not support all these languages. if you delete the lines as bibkare suggested, you will see what languages are available.
( dont think there is anything there for the mods to want to delete, but I wont hold my breath )

I never said all languages would be supported but one could easily interpret the list this way. Your clarification is well justified then.

I was also about to mention your option (and bibkare I guess) to find out the supported languages. This can be found from the HHT folder too when looking at the numbers for different files that refer to supported languages.

I think there is some confusion here. gmatj, you are talking about DAS languages, littledan91 was talking about HHT languages. At least my setup does not have Greek for HHT.

You are correct to say Greek is supported, but only in das.
Unlike DAS, Sadly Greek is not supported by the HHT

save that ini file and that is it

thanks for the info, but i have a question that you or othe member may be able to answer, i was looking at the HHTWIN.INI in my clone setup and later looked at the same HHTWIN.INI file in my original compact3 and there was surprisingly significantly more information on the original. also you see the SPCP is 13 any ideas whycould not locate a 13 in language codes

Just change the numbers. "02" stands for english. "00" stands for russian.
There was complete list of these numbers in the old forum.

you are totally right !!!
change the 2 last digits only.
example: english
SPC=02
SPCN=02
SPCP=02
SPCD=02
SPCV=02
modified to spanish
SPC=04
SPCN=04
SPCP=04
SPCD=04
SPCV=04

those files are in the C:/windows root.
and modify httwin.ini ..you can edit the file using word pad.
Search this same thread for the language options.
But remember that HHT uses only 2 digits, and Xentry and DAS uses 3 digits to modify the language.

Cheers !!!
