Hi, I have 2010 Skoda Superb II 3T 2.0TDI CR 170BHP and can somebody tell me how to check Particle Filter Load with VCDS, and how to do Diesel Particle Filter Emergency Regeneration? I read Ross Tech procedure but when I selected:
[Select]
[01 - Engine]
[Coding-II - 11]
Enable Regeneration by Entering 21295.
[Meas. Blocks - 08]
Select both Groups at once 070 and 075.
[Go!]
MVB 070.1: Regeneration Status (xxxxxxx1 = Normal Regeneration active, xxxxxx1x = Forced Regeneration active)
MVB 070.3: Regeneration Counter/Timer
MVB 075.1: Exhaust Gas Temperature before Turbo Charger
MVB 075.2: Exhaust Gas Temperature before Particle Filter
MVB 075.3: Particle Filter Load
MVB 075.4: Exhaust Gas Temperature after Particle Filter
in the group MVB 075.3 I don't see anything like % of filter load. Those groups show me something like -1 -2 -1
How to do it?

I'm not sure but you should check it on the road

hi
ive had several FR leons of the tdi variant which i had to do this on. they have the 170hp plant also, 1 of which i have fitted a stage 2 turbo and full milltek from turbo back, i have to regenerate the dpf about every few thousand miles, nobody seems to be able to write it out of the software properly well at least at the time i did the work anyhow.
anyway i do what you have described also and you must take and drive on good straight road several miles and the warming lights will go out having done its job. but i do recall the % dropping as far as i can remember,
is there a fault code stored for the pressure sensor by any chance.? they give a lot of trouble on them wagons or sorry the seat equivilent.
hope this is of some help mate . . .

I know that I can/have to do it on straight road, but how to check Filter Load with VCDS, where to look to check it? Ross Tech in own procedures said that I can do the Diesel Particle Filter Emergency Regeneration with VCDS by entering 21295 code and then drive on straight road checking groups
MVB 070.1: Regeneration Status (xxxxxxx1 = Normal Regeneration active, xxxxxx1x = Forced Regeneration active)
MVB 070.3: Regeneration Counter/Timer
MVB 075.1: Exhaust Gas Temperature before Turbo Charger
MVB 075.2: Exhaust Gas Temperature before Particle Filter
MVB 075.3: Particle Filter Load
MVB 075.4: Exhaust Gas Temperature after Particle Filter
but in my case this doesn't works. Under those groups I have something different numbers which doesn't show me what Ross Tech said they should.

Does the reading change when driving on the road ie it takes a reading after a certain time?

did you check for fault codes for pressure sensor.?
this could explain why your not getting figures on particle filter load..! ill open up my vcds and have a nosy mate..

Yes I did drive for half an hour and still to same figures(MVB 075.1/.2/.3/.4). There is nothing wrong with the car no faults, I wanted just check how DPF filter is loaded and if necessary do the Emergency Regeneration, but I can't. Maybe in new Skoda/new Vag cars with 2.0TDI CR 170BHP engines this procedure looks different?

Ignition ON.
Engine idlle.
Oil temperature above 50 grad C
Particulate filter loading state[Block 75 value 3]speciefied below under the respective maximum value. If the loading of the filter is larger.the filter has to be replaced, otherwise the filter during regeneration might be too hot and burn.
As many electricity consumers in the vehicle turn on[air conditioning, radio, etc].
With about 30-60 km/h in 3rd speed drive [about 2200 rpm constant].Engine speed between 1500 and 2500 pm hold,ideal constant 2200 rpm,exhaust gas temp.in the exhaust manifold >700 *C.
Error memory of the ecu read out the possible causes of errors and correct them.
The regeneration will take up to 20 minutes to drive until the loading condition of the filter is as small as possible[0%]

Have a look at this, it may help:

I've seen it and read before, and I know how this procedure looks like, but my point is when I went in VCDS into MVB 075.3 where supose to be particle Filter Load I have some number -1 which doesn't look for me on information about filter load. I have something like that:
MVB 075.1 (-1)
MVB 075.2 (-2)
MVB 075.3 (-1)
i don't have anythink in MVB 075.4 it's empty.
This Ross Tech procedure about DPF Emergency Regeneration doesn't apply to this car.
Somebody told me because this car is edc17 UDS the whole emergency regeneration procedure looks different, but he didn't tell me how to do it.
