Why not just remove the entire registration all together & have all options open?

you're right, the first patch (not public) was based on this principle and not working properly. The latter are the kinds of 'self keygen'.

It still requires you to have some structure in entering the values, if u dont enter 32 characters the program come up with an error message for me.

- first error when I try to start documentation.

Documentaion is done online so valid account will be needed
Nobody using 1FFFFFFF Profile will beable to flash or alter configurations until a keygen is made, the problem is the profile;)

I don't think that reinstall will work because this happened also with V04.86, and this v05.06 it is clean install.
Any way I don't use this sw to work; at this moment Diagbox it is just to study because I can't start quick Lexia /PP2000 without portal and can't make BSI flash & config from server.

file infopds.xml store user data entered including registration code but after deleting this file when it ask for RRDI and activation, profile fild still have old data and can't be edited-changed.

That right , activation of the Diagbox isn't enough to make Telecodage , if you try to do that you are requested for another activation code under Lexia or PPS, code type is xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx

Have you made "telecodage" on a car ?

I've proceded the activation of the diagbox with the tuto of 16eddi67 ( very nice ), and the patch , my diagbox is activated but not able to make "telecodage"' ( i don't know the term in english ).

I think that the profile isn't the right to do that.

I do not know what really matters, but with same windows and configuration it works on one PC and do not on other.
Also never had problems with english Windows, but on french few times. And I get this error even with DVD mounted or even burned and inserted.

Hi all,

I had the same issue when I installed on laptop with Vista. Today I installed on my trusty old XP machine and to my surprise it is now working. Of course I cant do telecharging etc but never could before with Lexia either.

By the way on this old laptop I am also still running Proxia 3 ( why because it seems to work great with older cars ) so we will see if Diagbox will work with old C5's.. used to have an issue doing regens with lexia so kept Proxia loaded.

I will try to reinstall at a later date on a Windows 7 machine to see how it goes.

i'm a new member....is the firdst post for me....my name is salvo,i'come from Italy....i hope somebody can help me!....I had pp2000 and lexia updated and i had no problem....now i installed a diagbox without problem....but i sow during use this sw that i'm not able to code parametres...for example:choose my car,choose telematique and when i clic on code to change parametres the sw needs another activation....the code is like as xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.

Hi xilophoene,i used 2FFFFFFF profile.....like as user i used a word with 7 character and like as key i used 32 charachers randoom.....after that my diagbox work 100%!!
the most important is: you must delete all old folders into c:\, unistall actia interface and clean your registry.....

Just tried installing Diagbox and get this error.

"Error During Installation of Lexia. You have to reactivate to restart the installation"

This is after I have run the patch on V5.02, and used the customer code, profile and activation number thats in the .txt document.

What have I done wrong???

If what I "heard" is true, it is better not to update DiagBox at version 5.14. The patch will not work anymore.The activation will be available only online.I understood they updated the security.

I don't know did anybody mentioned this but don't run DiagBox while internet connection is active. It will connect to peugeot server and kill it self.
It happened to me and I needed to reinstall DiagBox because I could't start it again.

Run initial patch when you first install. Then run v5.25 patch when you install v5.25

What machines are you using for Diagbox? Even tried it on a Core2Duo/2GB Ram laptop, and it was only a little better...

I think it makes intense hard disk activity, that's why it is slow...

I had already installed and activated DIAGBOX-5.29 china clone, and was working full , all OK.

But I had to unistall, disable Diagbox to cleam PC.

I installed DIAGBOX 5.02 from DVD image disk .ISO using patch ( DAL DB05 ) , and is OK.

I installed DIAGBOX update 5.02 to 5.20 , and is OK.

Now, my activation code only works until 5.20 !!!!!
I can not get to the version 5.29 , when i put patch ( DAL 0525 ) message is succesfull , I delete APPDIAG.SYS , run Diagbox, put code ( scary01 ) , press OK, but panel message is ERROR activation , code ( 0)

How to do ?
Any idea for this problem ?
anti-virus is OFF.

The only activation available to public is the patch of Mr. Scarymistake - see appropriate topic.

Comprehensive "How to" is more than detailed eleborated by Mr. Scary. But, generally speaking, they don't write such detailed infos because... THEY DON'T HAVE TO !
Usually, the info you need at a certain time, it's there somewhere... but you have to prove the minimum effort to find it, and give something in return, eventually.

I totally agree with you, theoretically.
But, I believe you forget the most important thing: the guys over here are not "in a large scale business". Most of them are very attracted to discover things to make their lives easier and to overstep some limits. If some of them are smart enough to succeed and to share the info, this is good for the rest. But, to keep the comparison right, is it not appropriate to have "a large scale bussiness" using cracks, keygens and so on.
This is the main difference, my friend! If you want full support, you should pay a subscription to PSA services, which is possible for every independent garage and all your problems will vanish !

I believe it's right to support the people who paid you, in the way you doing it. But this is different.

Just an opinion.
