Thanks a lot for the info friend. But I have a doubt, you mention that software work with a "usb to serial interface", but which interface does it need, a kkl or a vag k+can commander like the V1.4 one?

If you have a 1.9 / 2.5 tdi EDC 15 engine, it should work.

As you say. I had that too.
A virus is detected in SW Vag can commander 1.4 and 2.5. Add as an "exception" or don't use. (I have been using it for several years without any problems).

I'm using it on Win7 64bit right now. It seems to be working fine with my 409.1 KKL cable. I haven't had a chance to test it on a vehicle yet though.
