Alternative GEMINI addon servers

Everybody knows that the IHAD 22.01.2011. The ability to shut down direct download from a server in Gemini DreamBox receivers. Manually inserting the DreamBox can be hard (if it brings in more receivers simultaneously) as well as changing file permissions and so far it was all automatic odradjivano direct download. E and it has come to an end with the alternative URLs for download CAMs from different servers.

The working principle is very simple and below the URLs entered in the path var / tuxbox / config / useraddon.xml that you previously copy to the HDD from the computer (I suggest the simplest FillaZilla Client FTP manager) and the same open with Notepad + + or Wordpad and copy / paste URLs.
Upon completion and save the file back to the same location in the Dreambox and that the var / tuxbox / config /.
Added alternate servers is located on my servers to download them arriving by clicking on the blue button on the remote -> Addons (option 2) -> OK

Found this laying around ..... use at your own risk, but should be legit...... ( haven't personally tested as i don't use GEMINI )

had the same issue theres an exiting file in tuxbox (from memory, would check but doing a refresh).

Originally did an overwrite which lost the www.example (http://www.example). then adjusted the orginal manually, did a url at a time.

Only issue is I get "error 12 - unknown error" been playing the the last 20 hours trying to get cccam installed. On the 4th image, fingers crossed

I tried to download cccam from gemini server like i did a year ago but now it seems to be deleted. Does anyone know why, or maybe where can i find cccam 221 ?

Is it possible, that the correct directory is now /etc? Only there I can find the file useraddon.xml. I own a DM800 (E2) with Gemini 5.1. If I put the downloaded file into this directory, there are no more servers than the original Gemini Download Server choosable in the Blue Panel.

Have you got any ideas?

i have just replaced my useraddon.xml file with the one posted in the first post and some work and some don't but from the ones that do work you can get most cams etc that are missing from the gemini servers

Hi ,
I downloaded the pload file and ftp'd it onto the correct folder on the box.
I downloaded the ccam 2.09 file and the ccam 2.09 cfg file and they installed perfectly. I edited the ccam.cfg file and rebooted the box. But the commom interface loads all the time instead of the ccam. Any ideas of what ive missed here?

Thanks for your advice, Dude, but I somehow can't detect where I should put these URLs on my Dreambox 7020, Gemini 4.6? Bluepanel Addons...download(myserver) writes "error:server replied 302 Found (URL:http//www.example.com/test.xml). I cannot detect where that URL (in form of some *.xml) is in Dreambox tree. Certainly not in var/tuxbox/config.

I use "Ferrari Addon Manager" and works great, you can find it with google to download the ipk to install.
