Ok guis i agree wit this that we all hav to support Darius(this gui is great potencial and hav make great programmer)Respect to him.
But not everi one can pay for dhis i can not reali !
But we all(or may be not all)hav familis to feed and we tri by any posible way to do ***1086;ur job wit or wthowt original tools.
These from us that do not hav original tools make things wit big risk reali big risk(i am from dhis riski group:celtictop:)and veri hard.Wit original tools is a more easi and hav support but this is live.

Dont need disassemble flash .
You can find counter into eeprom.
delete it and you have dump without counter

using olly you can get the soft to accept any code. But that was back at bram and 53 you could just copy the files and not worry. Have not played with it since. If you made 5.0 return authorizations ok on check the newest with 8 on the end should still run just like bram did back in the day (a loader might work if he packed the exe up, unless he started encrypting the data from pc to device,there are so many ways to skin a cat). But let the man eat, throw him some money if you can not figure out something foreyour self sometimes.

Not try ripping the developer off, as xprog-m/xprog-box is such a good project use it everyday and love it.

Check if atmega have voltage directly on legs.
I guess power supply section is broken or you have not full or crossed COM cable.

Something is wrong with your computer or xprog.

My clone works OK with USB and COM.
Check on the other PC.

i have downoald a soft (virtual port) and instaled it on my computer
after setting paramaitres of virtual port,i run XPROM and i see that the green led comme ON when i start xprogm application ,
but it's always give "device is silence" and no led is ON when i clic on update!!!

Even if you open the file with hex editor you could see that it?s file generated with IDA...
I see all the asm without problem...

I dont see where you see this but dump is good if you try to reflash your XprogM with another XprogM all you need is this
If something rong buy a new Atmega64 posibly damaged by update
Istall retail 5.0 XprogM copy file from XprogM 5.3.5 max version without exe and xml ( bram30 thanks deserv )
and anjoy the full XprogM clon ( metalic box PCB green )

Yes it does work for me also tried almost all mcus but litlle bit crapy with hc11 and micronas. Everything else is ok

First I update firmware to v5.4.0 and after I downgrade to v5.0.

Sugestion of Darius (ELDB) .

Downgrade from v5.3.x don't work.

Hello, i think authorizations are in eeprom stored i dont know if i am right but my Development Tools was - Unauthorized after playng with my xprog eeprom i got Development Tools Authorized.

The set up CD is v5.3 but after the set up it starts as a v4.5
But it doesn't work: it doesn't read anything

Fiest of all, check if there are authorizations. But I think you will have to reflash Atmega64.

Down grade to 5.45 then update to 5.5

First replace the file into the xbox folder and run device update,do not use xprog 5 for the update procedure,you will get device is silent error.after when the update is done,delete or uninstall xbox and delete its folder from your drive C/and re-install your original xprog-m software and use as normal.
