There is a link for KTS 570,but that's about the same as 540. All installation instructions and descriptions are in this document http://www.boschdiagnostics.com/dsoftware/KTS570_Handbook.pdf
I have heard rumors about working without bluetooth stuck, but that was long time ago and by myself didn't have success get KTS to work with laptop built in bluetooth.

I have tried everything and it is not possible to connect it without Toshiba stick.
So I put the stick and now I can't make connection cause it requires PIN code from me. Probably the PIN that seller have.
How to connect it and get it working?
I would appreciate quick reply cause I am time short.

So what's actually happening?
After You have plugged in bluetooth stick it's coming up with asking for PIN code or when it does tht?
Haven't seen any pincodes for that, but will check for that in KTS box.
I hav done IP address set up in DDE,but not a pin code.
Wiil be back soon.

Maybe I got it wrong from the start. Let`s say I have finished ESI installation what is the procedure to connect to KTS540. I have connected using DDC and then I have to adjust bluetooth :(

Procedure to connect KTS:
1.Start DDC (bluetooth stick is plugged in and installed);
2.connect KTS by USB cable;
3.Settings tab on DDC;
4. select New button;
5. after that in window select automatic configuration and configure KTS b USB first( basically it doesn't matters usb or bluetooth, but once i couldn't firstly configure bluetooth and i'm going that way);
6 . follow instructions and should be OK.
7. repeat the same with bluetooth configuration.
Hopefully that will do.
P.S. Just checked my KTS540 box( genuine) and can't see anything about PIN codes.
Good Luck!

OK and thanks.
But what is the procedure when I click on bluetooth icon in system tray and have to add new device?

That is for adding bluetooth adapters to computer etc. It is showing KTS in window, but it's not for KTS configurations. To configure KTS use only DDC.
Cheers!

Install ESI[tronic] all the way.
after finished reboot
add the following to command line
C:\Bosch_PR\Tools\RBcompat\RBcompat.exe C:\BOSCH_PR\BT_Setup\BTBSetup.exe /VERYSILENT
follow instructions on screen
after you have driver installed an bluetooth connected (when it tells you to) go to control panel and open DDC configure new automatic bluetooth connection or if you don't want to connect USB cable to get bluetooth MAC Adress you can chose manual and input the MAC Adress that is in KTS should be something like 00 07 80 ....
If you still can't do it I can do it by remote desktop if you want.
NOTE: I have installed more then hundred KTS 540 and 570 (working by bluetooth) and I could only use the incorporated/built in laptop bluetooth in one TOSHIBA laptop all others I have tried I have failed...

Thanks GSI2!
Just on top of all this @steppenwolf.
You will need USB connection to upgrade KTS anyway in future.

Finally got it. There were two problems. One was the order of installation (first USB then Bluetooth) and second to update firmware via USB.
Works now! Thanks a lot fellas!

KTS 540/570 BT connection works great with internal Dell Wireless 360 Bluetooth module, used e.g. on Dell D630 (and too D620, 820, 830, ...)
It too works great with VAS 5054.
Another reason to buy one piece of this great laptop to the garage :)
