Hi,
I tried with Op-Com and Tech2 with the Opel Card. Obviously with the Saab card you can never enter a Pin.

I am trying to replace a PSG16 pump in a 93. When I try to do it using Saab tech2 I get error E4419, Unsupported Software Version in ECU. Cannot Continue when I try to Add the PSG pump to the car. Am I missing something or is this just not possible? I have TIS and have no issues with security access etc.

I then tried to reset the pump using Opel tools & your Pin but it doesn't work for me.

The Tech2 does NOT have a menu to let the user enter the PIN.
So you need to use an after market tool like AD's T-Code or T100 or MVP, Etc.
AD's tools will NOT program new keys if ALL KEYS ARE LOST.

It was a customers key that he purchased from Ukraine Saab dealer. I read it with hitag tool and it came up as unlocked. Maybe it's not precoded correctly or something. Because the error would end with bad key.

I dont think OPCOM works because it i have try to help some with pin but it hasn't work. I cant make virgin cim
I think you can change cim + a working key to that cim and then programing it with 2 tech2 but i am not sure because i have never done it
