Hello.
I need help, maybe you can help.
I need to weld a sheet of abs. (SEE PHOTO) the material is aluminum. I read somewhere and talk of an acid called STEARINICUM, but not here where to buy. Try flux, solder paste, and some other method but it is not possible.
Anyone have any idea (other than with tig)
Where I can buy that acid

thanks

have you tried aluminium solder. remember to use separate solder tip as aluminium solder will contaminate the solder tip. Try soldering temp high as possible.

Translation from one page ...........
To solder aluminium,on the soldering surface is applied mineral oil and aluminum surface under the oil layer is trimmed with a scraper or knife blade to remove the existing oxide film. Solder is applied to a well-heated soldering iron. Brazing thin aluminum sufficient power soldering iron 50 W, for aluminum, 1 mm thick and more desirable to use a soldering iron capacity of 90w If the solder does not stick to the metal, the process must be repeated again.

Best results are obtained in the case of alkaline oils for cleaning weapons after the shooting, good and satisfactory quality of rations provide mineral oil for sewing machines, and precision machinery.

Solder must have at least 50% tin, the most convenient to work with a solder POS-61 (61%). Solder POS-30 does not provide a good quality

Now I have this product in my hands.
After doing some tests ...
For this type of work, as thorough, not a good solution.

Very easy.Remove the broken aluminum wire completely.Apply tin solder on both sides and solder a copper wire.On board with electronics you need a stronger soldering iron.Ceramics of the electronic heat sinks rapidly. On the side where the pins are tin catches at the point where the darker, closer to the plastic.Unfortunately I did not photograph the proceedings.

Hello friend.
After doing several tests ....
To me, a very good option is this:

I did several tests and I am very happy.
I hope this information helps.

tel 01442233233
remember to lift pin as this solder splaters and can burn the fine gold wires next then etch the two side with alusol then solder together
to remove th plastic cover just tap with a stanley knife blade in th grooves of the abs pump and you wil clean cut then its easy to seal
