Peugeot 307 2007 BSI big problem

Hi, i have a peugeot 307 here, the keys needed programming on the weekend but i cudnt get hold of a key till today morning

the car was left stand still over the weekend.

anyway, when i switch ignition on, the headlights and wipers start working without me touching them

the BSI will NOT reboot, when i diconnect the battery and reconnect, then try the headlights the car does not respond, when i diagnose with PP2000 i get fault saying "no CAN comm with engine fuse box" but i think thats old code

also bsi doesnt seem corrupt, it just wont let me program keys, keeps failing


any ideas

if lights and vipers come on, suggest the comms 2000 is faulty, lost power, unplugged or none of the above.

How many people have you phoned about it?

could still be coms 200 fault - knowing Z it's been stood 2 years, now customer wants it moving, but 6 other folks have had a go at it already.

right, customer seen me doin BSI reset on the weekend, he tried the same thing behind my back but with the ignition ON

start with, ignore the crap, talk to the comss 20000, do a globel scan.

original key dropped and wouldnt work all the time, i went to the car and car refused to crank due to customer cranking the shit outta it. i did bsi reboot, took circuit board out of fob, placed near coil and started car

customer tried to do same thing

on global scan there are no error codes with comms2000

when i try to read live data in bsi, mileage display on car goes off, the display in the middle goes off, lights dont work with ign switched off either

on faults i get are

No cranky cranky? - weird, though crank longtime if immooeed.

close eyes, yank the centre display, fit 3 new bulbs

problem only occured after battery being connected/dis coneccted while ignition on

i jus got a call from one of our very good members to tell me he had a same fault code (fuse box comms) turned out to be fcuked bsi

I do not understand the defect.
The car worked fine until you try to record a key? you generate the defect?
Or did not have the key and wants to put one????
Read the fault the other ecus (Global Test)
Turn on the lights and wipers, bsi is strategy === water in the connectors of the BSI?
Controls the operation of the antenna 8209 (measured resistance) and displays the measurement of parameters if present the key in the neiman.
the key is correct? the traspondeur is right?

i cant code the keys in, when it says turn ignition on, i turn key, it straight away says "key registration failed"

iv tried loads of times but cant get it to work

I maybe way out but i've seen this happening once where the coms unit/ring around ignition barrel was not sending the signal to the bsi when programming keys....maybe plug in another coms unit/ring and see if this works..?

Why download another BSI? Why not virgin the one you had?

presume you have tried but the correct VIN number in?

do the tail lights come on?

really do think, you should have downloaded under hood fuse box as well.

Huh, next time, might be worth sucking the flash data out of the 9s12
then retry it - best stop ~~~~ing around with the one we have.

usefull for testing the ecu i got off ebay to immo off with though.

If you have Virgin the BSI than you need New Transponder Chip as the old one's are already locked to you old BSI........

Look, it been a shit day here at M-H-M

1) Are you using the correct vin number - of the car?
2) try 'replacement parts' change of ecu
3) DK has strict rules, about NOT linking to INFERIOR websites.

Right now, not really in the mood AT ALL, so, go and suck on this - altough not your problem, but it is something to tell your friends when you phone them, also your mates down the pub will think your cool

As far as i know there is no immo off solution for the ME7.4.5
But maybe someone can prove me wrong.

All well and good saying that, but theroetacally there is 'no fault'.

Susspose for testing purposes, you could unplug engine ecu, then try coding keys, in case ecu is saying 'nil poi' all the time

1) phone some one - not me
2) Your stuck as it is - try it
3) The customer won't want to pay if you don't fix it.
4) the worst that can happen is the car don't start

when recording a key, the BSI recognizes the code and continuing to the next step and then fails.
The key is wrong. or antenna.
The transponder must be new, if used in another vehicle will not work,
Not change the dump of the ECU, the problem is in bsi and key.
Is +30 to +15 m in the diagnostic conector pin 1 and 16? 12 volt.
When you learn the bsi with the code, she accepts?

tried a new tansponder, car started

but now i have another problem :(

the battery on car was low, so i told customer to drive for 30 mins to charge it up

he got home, locked car, come out 15 mins later and no start, checked it and bsi is empty again, no coding in there

is there a new battery needed or new bsi?

I programed BSI with Pplanet each time to start
First time car started -second time car didnt start yet
I had electrical problems in BSI Only when I swaped BSI Peugeot began to start

Damm that is so unfair - tried like 6 times to corrupt the one was working on, no luck.

BUT bonus side is now got another pug that is 'ready corrupted' WHAEEYY.

Are you open the BSI to do somting?
Tray to learn the batterie new to BSI, exist some info about it.

Problems:
Put BSI out without disconect batterie!
Conect BSI with batterie ON!
The same with key on!

One techican from PSA say me that I can put BSI out wihout disconect batterie, when BSI is in Sleep stage!
AND i ask how i make this without open door? he say TRAY.

That i say first disconect baterie, wait 30sec. or short +->- on the car side.

When not the most common problems is Dump is lost, crazy BSI, drain Batterie, AC goes off, power to the sit is disable or switch somthing on without you make somthing.
