Should be as simple as
1. Downloading Mgcamd and the magcamd config file
2. Inputting your line in the correct format. (remember you must change the C: or N: to CWS =
3. And then changing your softcam to mgcamd.

If i remember rightly the CWS line goes in the newcamd.list and you must have this file to, if not just make one using notepad and save it where the mg_config is.
works fine on my 800se.

Hi, this is taken from another forum, so cannot accept credit for it.
This is some information about how to add N lines to mgcamd
Make sure you have mgcamnd installed like 1.35 or 1.35a
Your n line issued will start with an N: use something like notepad and remove the n and replace with CWS = instead
Example:~
N: myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Convert to
CWS = myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
(you can edit this in notepad)
using a FTP tool add it to the end of the newcamd.list found in the Keys Folder.
In Linux they will be in /var/keys/newcamd.list or /usr/keys/newcamd.list or something similar.
Now press save and exit
Reboot the receiver then start mgcamnd emu and enjoy
Point to note:
You change from N: to CWS =. Taking note theres a space between the CWS & =

hi, is it okay to use the new version of mgcamd 1.38 or better to use mgcamd 1.35/1.35a?

Below file names apply to OpenPli images.
if server is newcs then file is /usr/keys/newcamd.list with "CWS" line similar to N line
if server is CCcam then file is cccamd.list with line "C:" line as in CCcam.cfg
Note that the .list files names and content are case sensitive.
The message "cannot parse this emu" means there is a syntax error in one of the .list files. Rename them to something different and test one at a time. Fix the file that causes the error to be displayed.
Edit /usr/keys/mg_cfg file and at lest make sure the boxtype is correct (at bottom of file).
