-vdd with 100 ohom to cnvss
-rst with push to gnd
-pin 9 max232 to rx uc
- pin 8 max232 to tx uc
-gnd max232 to gnd uc
and the M16c flasher select type of uc in setting and uncheck erase all ,with com1 baudrat 9600
press connect and push reset button
the uc will connect and press read button and press ok
that s all.

dont know, i havent got upa. Just take or make serial converter it is 30min job but you can use it for various tings

Are you sure that is working???Because M30879FLFP is not in list of flasher V1.37.
This works on rcd500 panasonic ,what i tried myself.But rcd500 have M30833,and this is on list.

Or maybe that is the secret ???Because i saw another interface max232 using different pins like 11 and 12.
and this use pin 9 and 8.

It is not secret i will post schematic that i used it is old motorola cracker schema with max232, i have used many times with no problem, I have Martech but sometimes he dont work as it should be.

Here is more info, just use Rx Tx Reset and dont forget resistor 100ohms between CNVSS and VDD

Hi!I tried with my interface because your schematic is too small,can't see anything.
But there is a problem like i said there is no M30879 in the flasher device list.So what are you choose???Lokk there is an ID mismatch.
And second :what windows are use?I used win98.
Please send the interface schematic in rar file.

You are right i will check it later M30879 is double size then M30833. Will inform soon. Win xp i am using
