I believe engine system is fiat edc16c39, you must read flash and modify for immo off m8.

There is a post by our m8, lupu sandu on a boxer with same system where he unplugged immobox removed eep from pcb of engine ecu, refit ecu and read full flash threw obd for 29f400.

(id remove flash from pcb and read , but i know you dont like chips with more than 8 legs, lol)

Then you must get some clever ~~~~er like lupu to modify write back threw obd leaving immo box off (might aswell chuck immobox in bin) then replace eeprom.

Lupu just skyped me im wrong thats for fiat edc15c7 not edc16c39

You must charge good money for this as LDV has lost all keycodes and immobiliser codes from there system. And at LDV only way for lost key is new lockset and ecu,s.

If is like Fiat EDC16, then read with BDM.

How funny is that, see one of these parked at the side of the road today, and woundered how to immo off. Weird.

OFF TOPIC:-

The airbag system is Suski - do a search i posted in the airbag section AGES ago.

Do beleive the MVP PRO can do this with it's eyes shut.

*THINK* the immo box is on the transmission tunnell.

From 2000 LDV used Texas crypto 4D type 60. MPV piece of cake. Sure I used MPV a few months back. Confirms above.

Or TMpro by module----like anyones gonna buy it. Not enough of these on the road.

Really! So no immo off then lol

Z - mate, can you upload some GOOD photos to assist in the arguments please. ECU and Engine - if somebody can find a Rover SD1 Turbo Diesel engine, and a Jeep Cherokee engine for a giggle as well.

Made by some Eyetalian (sorry what's the name on the donkey)

What has happened with this?
Where in MVP is this on the menu for reference?

Hi *VERY SORRY* the vechile is no longer in our hands
*THINK* but unsure it still starts with unplugged, try asking Justy22 see if he knows - he IN-corrected a milage on one

THIS WILL PUT THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON - UNPLUG MODULE - AGAIN 'UNDER THE RADIO' - OR SELECT SUZUKI (SOMETHING) ON YOUR DIAGNOSTIC TO PUT OUT

It came in for a fault with the Rear Frog Light fault
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/81877-meat-head/albums/just-testing-see-if-works/4564-thumbs-22.jpg

Was a fried controller chip in the "SECOND" Pektron unit 'under the radio'

Meant to mention in my last post, that Autocom will work on EOBD
But declinded to work on ANY ford, peugot 307 etc functions

What does your diagnostic say?

OK folks, Z mate, use this idea of PremierD's on the ecu - see if that controlls the IMMO light on dash?

What does it do BTW?

pressure in the middle with pointed implement .....( a 303 bullet MH ) .

immo in ecu or instrument cluster mate???

This why i said shot the ecu with a few 3.3 bullets - thanks PermairD for the idea.

If immo light goes off, you know it's in ecu

*THINK* but will edit this post, if later questioned by a member of Admin, but the thing will still start with clocks out, was looking for a speeedo pulse, this is how found out about the airbag

Know it is an old thread - but still a lot of useful info about after all these years..I have an LDV Maxus and always believed that statement and someone at a garage told me those same words.

However a company in Swansea - Remobilise Ltd supplied me with my keycode/radio code and programmed my ESA module (central locking unit) with fobs - they have the full data base.
