hello all friends,
i need to know what eeprom i need to find in this car?
in tachosoft i find that in malibu 2005 there is only bsi,eeprom 95080. this is the same like 2008? because i saw post that somebody say he find 93lc66 in dash? any idea? thanks 4 all...

Can be 93c66 inside,and can be the microchip 93lc66 if its the 2010 modell,hte best way its to put on table,and search on dash.

I dont know if have in bsi,i dont make this car yet,but with diagnoze u can cek if u have in bsi km stored.

someone can confirm if the mileage stored also in bsi in malibu 2008...?

I do these over OBD but from what i remember mileage in these is only in BSI not in cluster

Yes mileage is only in the BSI and you must drill the back side of the threaded inserts to separate the control module to read the EEPROM

This car has two places that holds the miles: Body and cluster. If you put an used cluster, the car will show a reading from used cluster. But if you put used BCM your car's cluster will show a miles from BCM that you just put it. So, if you you get used cluster you need to use Tech 2 and SPS to marry (http://en.pons.eu/english-russian/marry) this cluster to the car.

P.S. BCM use microchip 95080, cluster use microchip 93LC66
