What programmers do they use ?

Yes, I think its a very expensive programmer forgot the name but it made for only renesas

No it will not work .. there is geniuane programmer from Renesas for 159$ but ... it will not read secure mcu's

Program H8SX it's not big deal, you can't read it.
You need good dump to program (and this is the problem)

Read the datasheet of H8SX MCU.
Flash is erased during boot. MCU can't be read! :P

Hi, just an update.

I have recently got my hands on this Renesas evaluation Board and emulator/Debugger called a E10A. Can anyone suggest to me some form of connection between these hard ware tools and the subaru airbag module i mentioned in previous post.

In the document above evrth is detailed. Make sure you've enabled debug mode, because in this ecu one pin is on the ground

just received this module from the guy that fixed it. Renesas mcu in it. module # 77960-tk8-a011-m1 denso. Honda odyssey 2011. i have pin pointed all the connection he had to made. lets figure out what they all lead too. and see what programmer can be used to read this mcu.

Sorry mate but the points of connection will do you no good....You can buy many programmers for cheap and You can connect to the mcu but once you try reading without correct password it will erase. Every module has different password. So unless you have virgin files for each different module with H8SX a programmer and connection points are useless. So unless you know the engineers at the airbag manufacturing labs which can provide you with virgin dumps or can hack the mcu in someway.....

Yes you are correct those places you can get reset and works good, all within 30miles of each other. So one guy has hacked mcu, but will not sell the programmer, why would you if you are only one.....so everyone can copy and sell for peanuts.

This MCU ist easy to connect to... u don't even need a programmer... u just connect via its serial interface (yeap, drop in a MAX, connect to ur PC serial port and fire up a term/like program). Z problem ist the machine commands required to chat with z internal o/s... Has anyone played with this option yet? ;)

And of course, having access to the actual flash/eeprom bin could solve all the problems. But where is the fun in that!!!

Volvo using renesas mcu in central unit and it say's that is coded
I did buy renesas starter kit for M32/85 mcu
It as controller board and debugger E8A but i don't understand how to connect...
It's time now to hack this mcu, soon it's in all car brand on market and then we are ****ed up...

I know a company from canada can hack this mcu but i don't know how.

Please do we have a real hacker in this forum ho can help?

this guys program airbag computer module they have virgin dumps i dont think so they are selling programmer already ,but they are not selling not the original programmer, because they recored All BIN Files are brand new and encrypted to an individual serial number in the software just to write but you can not read , so they still keeping secret how to read coded RENESAS MCU

Dont waste your money, it suposes that load a virgin dump, I tryed with 5 different modules and no success, first all instructions are in chinesse, second program have problems with Win7, for last the dumps loaded dont Works.

reneligth only writes chip through rx-tx
reneprog can read-write the chip through jtag and write through Rx-Tx.
