P1700 tells you the gearbox has (or had) an error.
Also read the codes from the automatic gearbox to find out what the problem is there.
If the diagnostic equipment doesn't work, do you have an engine light on then? And power to pin 16 of the diagnostic connector?
What do you mean by don't start? The starter motor doesn't turn? Or the engine doesn't fire up.

i turn on instrument cluster, i turn the key and the car don't start:
the starter motor doesn't start.
There aren't error, with texa diagnosis sometimes diagnosis work, the op-com not work.
When i turn instrument cluster on i listen the rumor of injection but when i turn key nothing happens and there is no sound : starter, motor etc....

Hi
Sounds like Immobiliser fault...................
It looks like you have poor connections in your Instrument.....So can you remove the Instrument and check the multi plug of instrument............
Can you also confirm if this vehicle has Automatic Transmission or, its Manual Transmission.........Also have you tried to power up the starter motor directly and see if the starter motor is OK

OK you might have poor earth connection at the Engine ECU or, one of the Gear Shifting Motor have failed or, fault in the clutch system............Can you try tapping the motors on the gearbox and see if that that's helps...........

Hang on a minute!
Have anybody checked Engine Control unit communications wiring diagram?
I don't have it with me at the moment but if i remember right then communication with engine control unit is going thru Easytronic(gearbox control unit).
So....if there is no communication with engine control unit but scantool communicating with all other control modules then that bit in easytronic is missing(even if there is comms with TCM).
I agree about earth/power supplies checking and check what's going on on CAN lines with oscilloscope.
Any faults in other control modules?

Hang on a minute!
1) Nice phrase:roflmao::roflmao:
2) not going to argue, but agree and disagree with you
*THINK* if you unplug the autobox, then intergiate the engine ecu
it says "some bastard has stlen the autobox"
Like wise beleive the gearbox ecu says "Some bastard has stolen the temp signal"
3) Wounder if it's parked next to a french car - two faults

That car with Easytronic gearbox have many problems.
First problem is 2 small motors and you can change that parts and secound problem is ECU, becouse drivers for clutch burn. On your instrument cluster when you put ignition ON, N will flash. If you press break then you will get -F- fault. You must check with your diagnistic over Test ACtuator, Is problem with ECU or motors.
