Extract file from Archive into F:\Programme\DAS\smart, make sure you backup the original.

No code needed to be entered, just press F2
It should work for all codes, i have only tested in sim mode

Since the DLL has not changed with 7.2012, it also works with that version

If you can be more specific, if i don't see the error in sim mode then i won't be able to fix it.If you can post or pm vin of vehicle used, also i found that with the old smart tan calc and no mods the codes generated for "Program key Transpoder" are accepted by das 5.2012.

As you can see the from the picture below, using the same vin number as the one displayed in your pics in sim mode, it completed the function

I also tested the following for the same vin

Activation of function "SOFTOUCH"
Activation of function "Steering wheel gearshift"
Activation of function "Cruise control"

they all completed succesfully

You need to explain the 2nd pic more thoroughly if you can, does it wait for you to press F3 cause from your pic it looks like it has been pressed.Can you test the other smart tan functions?

i know mate that you cant see the led if you have not a car .....
i just told you that the procedure is incomplete
Well: after the second pic and then ignition off a LED- switch which is located on "cockpit" is flashing and prepares the unit to accept the key by pressing twice the lock button...
Thats all the procedure...

I believe there are other issues in play here, if i try to "Add or remove equipment code" just by pressing F2 the vin number displayed on the top right hand corner is altered.If it writes this to the vehicle/module then you will have a severe problem.i have made changes to the key learning section which i believe should work, but since the functions that are not working at the moment rely on information from the code entered it may do more harm than good.

If you want to try it either way just tell me and i will post it, also the mod below appears to still work with 5.2012

Keep in mind one important thing, without the mod if the vin number entered does not match the vin in the module you will get "The VIN entered in control unit does not match the VIN which identifies the vehicle" with the mod you will not get this, the rest use your imagination

I Don't expect it to work cause the equipment code you want add or remove is embedded in the code you enter and since you enter no code then it wont decode it.I believe it will do something cause in sim mode it changes the vin up the top

Couldn't you use abritus to dump the eeprom from faulty module ( if it readable) and program the replacement module.That way the replacement module would be identical to the faulty one and the vehicle won't know the difference which would not require SCN coding?

Well,I passed this patch and in sim mode I saw anywhere is asked activation code the pc writes "press F2 to continue" and it seems to be ok.I am not sure only in keys activation because it asks ignition on although it is on-I am always in xentry-sim.When I have a chance I will try this alive.The problem is I see the online system down:it says is in repair time.I hope these two situations are different.Anyway,I will ask tomorrow to the dealer.Good afternoon

in dev mode one new menu is displayed in the sam ,and ecu motor units. is called FACTORY DIAGNOSTIC

I try to add equipament code K10 (DRIVELOCK) and P25 light packet and with this dll patch no ask for code for add equipament, and in dev menu, a special option called " equipament coding " , not run ,I change drivelock and light to active, write new configuration, and DAS display a error

I'll tell you what that calculator doesn't do, infact all calculator won't do, new or old.When the technician uses their C4 tester to perform smart tan function, he or she has to open the calculator on the tester (or on a seperate pc), punch in the code in the calc using the software keyboard thats provided with star through the touch screen, then punch the result into das with the same software keyboard through the touch screen, while making sure there are no mistakes when entering the data so that DAS can perform the function.

By the time the technician has performed one smart tan function, the others have done 5 vehicles.

No mate sorry i did'nt mention it but with the old calk those who all we have
did'nt work with old versions of das like 01/2012 or before 11/2011 now works fine i guess, until 05/2012.
I did'nt test it a friend of mine said to me that with 05/2012 the old calk is now working and will not update the das right now
for this reason.

My file paths don't appear to be the same as everyone else's here, so I'm not sure I'm doing this correctly. I have placed the new CSD dll where I think the TAN exe is calling it, but it is still generating the same incorrect codes as with the old dll. What am I missing?

the csd.dll is not for TAN calculator softare is for DAS software, you need patch the DAS not the TAN calculator

Put the new dll in F:\Programme\DAS\smart , and not more TAN codes is necesary , only press F2

I don't know if this will help, however I can confirm that with version 10_2008 and 03_2012 in SIM mode I was able to navigate smart with out being asked for a code, except in special functions where you can request 3 6 and 10 codes and when clicked start was forwarded to the previous screen.

I'm experiencing an issue with this mod.
The system is running DAS ver 7.3.0 (09/2014 (2014-08-20)), and after renaming the csdsmart-dll to csdsmartold-dll, copying the new file into the same folder and starting the system, I'm hit with an error message: "CSD.DLL not found" error 25.
DAS is in F: by the way.

It will work with most versions (if not all) where the version of the dll your replacing it with is the same. The thread tittle was changed to include 7.2012 when I saw that the dll was the same when 7.2012 was released. Newer Smart(s) are done with Xentry so the dll is not referenced for those

The mod killed the DAS Smart Tan keygen and the con men started selling this

Just a question regarding Xentry (i promise not to create more offtopic), I have a virginized SAM, which I paired successfully with the car, now I will activate the Tempomat, Softouch, Paddles and code keys. I just have 2 quick questions:

1- Do I need to activate anything more like the air con or heated seats? Could you please tell me where to do it in Xentry? This patch will also work?

2- My new SAM connects the low beam automatically when I turn the key in first position, which I found very strange... Accordingly to Evilution this could be a sign that it is programmed to work with a light sensor? Can someone please tell me how to shut off this option, since I have no sensor in my Roadster???

I assume the "7.2012" is the DAS release date, in which case the mod works on 11.2012 for key coding.
I have a lot of experience of the systems outside the "black Boxes" but not what goes on inside.

I have the same problem as WSC (page 1)

The Immobiliser LED should come on constantly and flash off for each key programmed in.803796

Mine doesn't even enter the LED on stage and I'm using the V2 version.

I'd be interested to hear from WSC what, if anything, he did different.

Any advice will be appreciated.

There is an interesting question in there for me. Is there a way to disable the immobilizer completely?

Reason: my key stop working (not the battery or sync issue) but a PCB key issue. I was 3h away from home and the tow truck couldn't move the car. I had to get someone to come and reprogram it (cost €350) for a old car :)

Hi im new here and been lookig round for a serius DAS Smart Calculator but most seam to be fake and comes with some other fun stuff thats hidden in the file like a virus. Kinda sad but thats life i guess. anyhow trying to wake this thread again and woundering if this program still exist here? since i cant download it, the site just promts me to logg in again even though im already logged in.

Extract file from Archive into F:\Programme\DAS\smart, make sure you backup the original.

No code needed to be entered, just press F2
It should work for all codes, i have only tested in sim mode

Since the DLL has not changed with 7.2012, it also works with that version
