hi there. alittle advise, read a ews3 rover immo box, all datas is showing 0c 0c 0c 0c 0c 0c 0c 0c. removed eeprom mask 0d46j from board and read it with eprog m. cleaned all pins. tried varous times with no luck. i did the exact same immo ews3 box for x5 bmw last week with no problems. could some kind member please share some light on what the problem could be. the vehicle is not starting. i want to produce a new chip with original zedbull. many thanks for assistance. keep well.

Take isn DME and write to ews.
Realign dme-ews with gt1.

hi here read the flash from dme. tried programming a mcu from a different ews refused to program. so i guess mcu from ews is damaged. is it possible to immo off the dme. please advise. see dme flash. manythanks.

No immo off solution , is rolling code signal.
You need to do syncronisation .

hi there dear friend. could you be alittle more specific. i will have to get another used ews3 immo box. the original one;s mcu data is damaged. many thanks. to make the key from dump is no problem.

you read EWS thru Xprog EWS adapter? because i read it incircuit . not with adapter.
But after that i try to read it with adapter and worked.
a friend of mine burned 2 motorola processor with his xprog M .

Rolling code i think everytime you put ignition on , EWS transmit a new Syncronisation code to ECU , and unlock it .

we will be using ak 90 bmw eeprom reader to read mcu on the board to produce key. thats the easy part friend. to get the ews and ecu to match hundred percent is a problem. thanks

will send you a working set .(Please do not share out as many hours of testing have gone into this ..)


seems you will need to get another ews3 anyway before you will have a runner ..

Can also send you another ecu set if all else fails ...

Apparently the vehicle stood for 6 months. Dont realy know the history as per auto elec. Many thanks for your assistance on helping us getting car started Pierre. You have a nice day. Keep well.

I can pull hex coding apart if you need me tooo do that ..????????

I belive GT1 can not do this at moment . You reallly need testbook or brovacom software to sync these ecu's ..

Never had problem with siemens ecu or the diesel ones .. Only on mems3 type 1.8T


A good money maker when you find them ...
