Hello All,

Here are two channel lists for the Redline Ts 3000 hd.

As uploaded on diff thread by Tony Numbers

Just in case you missed it.

Theres a Sly 28.2 faves

& another file which has some of the big hitters, 13 19.2 etc.
Its not got 0.8 or 4.8 degs but I'll have a fiddle near end of week & see if I can add.

good box isnt it mate ? with a nice looking epg.....i have no idea why they hod the a-z search option but was relieved when i found it. Pic loads better than openbox & its more functions than my icecrypt

in bulk. Rather I have to do it 1 x 1 exiting each time. Very time consuming.

Put a pen drive into your stb, goto menu/settings/upgrade/usb/card upgrade/udska1/ , here is a blue button for save, after save db.bin will appear into usb.
Attach usb to computer and run the db.bin tool.
find serial NO in sn.text file
Carefully read the guidence notes.

Pressing the casing works some of the buttons. Guess part of the multi layer print is cracked. Anyway using a Universal remote I have been unable to capture the Redlines remote 3 digit code. Any ideas?

Thirdly. IPTV is up and running but I have had no success with entering the new ip address manually. Everything appears in order but my new channel which appears on the list does not open. Ideas?

Pm me if you have problem with db tool.
Below protocols for iptv streaming.
Http Protocols with port : sample : http://domainname or ip: port
Mms protocols rtsp protocols and rmtp.
Regarding remote control problem contact your supplier please.
I gussess that these type of receivers cannot work with universal RCU.

One more question if anybody can help? i was messing with the channel lists, for some reason now when i push "channel up" button or "channel down" button i am always taken to channel "0001" so to get another channel i have to go through the EPG rather than just flick through the channels? really annoying :-(

Attach a usb into stb usb port then Goto Menu/settings/upgrade/backup/channel list backup. A channellist.bin file will save in the usb.
To upload channellist.bin in receiver use the fimware upgrade procedure.

Thanks Tony, i am still a bit confused though, if you could answer these questions that would be great, thanks for the help so far.

A) you want me to back up the current channel list to usb? but i want to upload a new channel list from the one i downloaded here

B) after backing up my channel list to a usb stick, you want me to totally wipe the box with a different firmware?

C) what is the latest firmware? and if i update to another firmware will that already have the new channel list on it?

D) if the new firmware has the channel list already on it, why should i back up the original channel list?

E) after updating the firmware, if it doesnt have the channel list then how do i get it on?

attached allflash.bin file which have latest firmware and 28.2e channel list.
How to upload ,do a factory reset then
Menu/settings/upgrade/usb upgrade select Allflash.bin .

I think their is a bug in firmware . Best way to wait for a new firmware or do a satellite scan manually.

No, I meant the keyboard of the receiver. There must be a combination of keys to press to bring up the *. I am trying to enter a c line manually on the receiver. I cannot see the * button on it anywhere.

Yes , Their is no option to wirte star sign .
Its easy to add C line by usb.
Make a text file plain.text . Put C or N line as mentioned in the sample format below then save it.

{n,port,dyndns.com,username,pass,01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14}
{c,port,dyndns.com,username,pass}

Attach USB to STB Enter into supper setting , select CCcam then select 'Green Button'
Then select your connection text file then press ok and your C line will appear press connect
''Login Success'' will appear then press 2/3 times exit exit to save the data.

Major Problem - please help

Well i turned on my box today and on the front of the box is stuck with the word "LOAD"

i havent touched it since the other night when i was trying to update the firmware.

My screen is stuck on some sort of option menu with the title "Download from TS" at the top

There is no way for me to exit this menu, i am forced to choose an option in 22K ON/OFF/AUTO

and no matter what option i choose at the top it takes me to a second screen that just stays stuck at "Finding Upgrade Info" but doesnt do anything from this screen.

I have tried unplugging the box and all the buttons on the remote and nothing will allow me to exit from this menu screen, the box boots up to this screen every time.

Can anybody help?

Switch off receiver and attach usb to receiver.

Tv scareen will shows the progress of upload .

That process is used if bootloader was corrupted and their is nothing on the tv screen.
Normal method to upload a firmware by usb is .
Menu/settings/upgrade/usb upgrade/....select firmware here.

Yes you told me the normal method before but it did not work for me last time. Thats why i had to do it via the "menu/power on" update mode. But where can i find the older firmware that will have all the channels in proper order for Sly uk?

If i downgrade to this older firmware, how will i get the updated channel list onto the box?

Does the older firmware allow you to update only the channel list?

are you saying the older firmware already has the channel list embedded in the firmware image so that if i flash it with the older firmware the channel list will already be updated?

You can Upload firmware and channel list seprately into your receiver.
Allflash.bin file i post earlier was a backup file from a working Ts3000 stb which contains channel list+fimware .

yes i did use that Allflash.bin file that you gave me to flash my box but my channel list is still very bad with no proper order in the channels. It didnt change the channel list i already had. Do you have a screenshot image of what an organised channel list looks like? None of my channels are grouped together and no favourites appear.

Their is another way to make user own FAV channel list if you don't like the one you have.
Delete channels from factory reset option and do a fresh satellite scan.
Select Fav from remote and here make favourites then save it.
Make a channel list backup from backup option save it into usb .
after finish share it with us plz.

Hi Tony thanks. Apologies for the delay getting back to you
but I was unable to access DK for some reason.
I was able to IPTV using MMS format but not a Http. MMS
entered and opened ok. I have 387 channels on IPTV
at moment supplied via the GIFT.

Ref the DB Tool. I got it working but it shows only the SAT and another column for the TP's. In the service column there is nothing. No channels show up. My FW is dated December so I guess its up to date.

Ref the DB tools I am sure I did all that was explained in your readme, however I will try again. All these .db files show up in the db tools but as I said the service column is empty.
Your readme also shows nothing in the service column.
I am only going by the channel editors I used to use with the Technomates and when you selected the Sat--Tp then the channels associated with the Tp should be there for editing,
moving deleting etc.

HELP... i have tried to update the sat list via usb.and have ended up with ablue screen which says ' download froM TS .....findingupgrade info ' 4100 MHg . i cannot navigate away from this page.i have tried to power down,mains disconnect ,but the same thing keeps happening. the STB window just says ' load ' continuesly. can some kind knowledge master help me out of this pickle ? cheers. steve

The firmware is compressed in rar format .Extract the rar file a yellow folder will appear enter into folder their is a firmware name m_rom_vp_07514.bin copy this firmware and paste it into usb . then follow the rest of the process.

Does anyone know how to setup the childlock facilityon these boxes ? Have tried but the stb does not appear to lock channels. I have tried the various ratings ie 18,..... but still nothing is popping up to block access to adult themed channels or programs. Any help much appreciated....

if rom.bin doesn't work , rename to rom , as i found sometimes the stb adds .bin itself , which explains the no match file error .

products.

I personally think the team behind Redline ts3000 HD [now re-branded as TL 500 IPTV] is very determined to
market it across the board. I'm in Africa and there are quite a number of people i've met online using Redline ts3000HD in Africa.

I'm sure the issues you are raising with regards to ''server connection'' will be solved but i can't determine the time, please be patient.
