I dont have cars here, but with 12v and ground connection on first one it works, the other one just says cancheck so will test on car once it is here.

I'm not familiar with Fiat's and this unit was bought used to replace a broken one. Car is not with me (Fiat Punto 2003) I only got the stereo unit so I was wondering if will need cancheck off.

What was broken from other unit? Is it something you can replace with the one you have got? eg CD mech etc..
Otherwise you will need to repair CAN on the new radio for it to work..

Is this a valid read? Done with xprog... If is OK maybe someone remove cancheck. The other problrm would be that I can't write back with xprog. Used this file on Nyo and modded for cancheck off but can't write...

Not sure this is a good read as NYO has removed the wrong bit by the looks...

Here is yours repaired, make a new read/backup before trying this:

Thanks for your time. Just compared your file with one I done myself on Nyo and are identical, so I suppose that's fine... Still have problem writing modded file with xprog. Anybody managed with xprog?
