I am looking for a solution to repair these ecus from toyota rav4.
I found only this page. it's in russian language, but google translate will help.
Maybe someone has a good dump for this 25080?
link is here:
? ??????? Toyota RAV4: ?????? ECU 89661-42820 RAV4 2001 ????? ???? 1AZ-FE (http://rav4russia.blogspot.com/2009/02/blog-post.html)
this ecu in the link, was repaired (as i understood): what was done: replaced or resoldered resistors and replaced memory chip - 25080
is it enough or it is something missing? cant be truth, i think, too simple.

The chip no need to be replaced - after repair you need to drive about 40-50 km to get rid of the anoying gear change beetwen 2-3 (I suppose it's your problem).

Well, i did repair on this ecu. Maybe i need to take a look at it one more time, because sometimes there is a big vibrations from transmission. It looks like it wants to shift gear, but it cannt. Maybe its not ecu problem anymore, but valve body.

If you do diagnosis is there any dtc??? and check solenoids ...

no dtc. i don?t know any very good way to check solenoids, except to measure resistance, check movement. how do you do it?

update on topic: fixed another rav4, did same way like first - everything went fine with resoldering resistors and reading 25080, writing 00 from 100 to 1ff. i put that ecu into my previous rav4, and that one went fine, so i will need to recheck the first ecu. maybe i missed something.

thanks for your help and file. i did same to my file, but made only part for adaptation data, not also for keys. just wondering what else could be, if resoldering would not help. it's intermittent problem, sometimes you can drive car for a day and all good, sometimes it resists to work well.

Why people are so lazy???
If you read entire thread ( ufff, what a hard job!!!) you don't need any password, one of the members explain how to modify eeprom dump.

Hello Everyone,
I'm following this thread for a while coz i have two customers both of them have a Avensis verso. The first customer i have done everything what was described up in this thread and it worked fine, did the soldering and then reprog the eeprom and when i put the ecu back i've thougth i will have to reprogram the keys to it, BUT i didn't need to. Which means to me (i'm might be wrong) but it didn't virginalise the unit. The good thing is the soldering solution worked very well the car is good. My issue now is my second customer who brought a 2nd hand ecu and he wants that to be programmed in. So how can i reset the ecu? Can i have a pass for the file please.
Thank you,
bali

Hello guys,
I have a 2001 Rav4 with transmission shifting problem. I did replaced IC 811600-4623 all 4 of them, resoldered resistors
change file 25080 100-1ff, and I still get codes P0753 Solenoid A,P0758 Solenoid B, P1656 OCV Circuit fault
P1760 Linear Solenoid for line pressure control!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance

Mate it sounds like your valve body or the loom is faulty. have you had the same codes before the repair?
