Cat Caterpillar Communication comms adapter 3 driver PLEASE HELP

Can someone please help me with the driver for comms adapter 3 ( 317-7485 )
I have searched other treads and all downloads dont work any longer.

Is it not a option in the diagnostics or communication on your et?

Yeah it is a option but says that the software isn't installed. Both my tough books say the same thing. Both are different ET. One is 2010A and the other 2011A . Something has happened to stop them both working but I'm not sure what. When I connect commas adapter it comes up with error 142 . I have tried to change to comms 3 but it won't let me

Are you in the right usb/com port?

Make sure you select the rp1210 com3 adapter in preferences then make sure you know which port

ive never had any issues before with it and as I say . Now I have the same problem on both tough books and I've tried using another comms adapter 3 also
