CarProg all up to 4.01 reset and unlock Counter over USB

I am looking every day how peoples spend a time and money to reset or unlock Caprog up to version 4.01 with old LIB.
Here is my contribute to forum and " IT IS NO PASSWORD PROTECT " so not ask me or PM me for any password.

Manual : plug older CarProg HW up to V 4.01 old LIB TOOL to USB and open SW.
Fo to Internet -> UPDATE -> WAIT to finish.
Close SW and disconnect tool. Now u have counter reset or even "0" counter unlocked tool.

Hi, i have some questions about them, need paste some file .lib in folder "Counter" or only need execute program?need disconect internet?
Is valid to use carprog 4.74 with file 201213CAR000ME61.lib?

Read careful what I write it is for old LIB sistem not new so 4.74 will not work !
No need nothing copy inside from lib just use as is and no need disconnect internet.

I am posted solution for old one Carprog.

If I will see step forward from other users then maybe will help about 4.74 and newer versions ....
If all will stay as is now then these is all from for now....

resurrected two bricked 4.01 clones (counter 0 ) in about 15 mins so yea the USB flash works only on 4.01 clone lib tho handy quick good work Elchip

just read the instructions mate

plug in carprog
open the tool in the folder click update update from file ( in folder ) wait till update finishes
unplug carprog from usb
plug carprog back into usb
start software back up with your own 4.01 software and lockouts gone
takes a minute or 2 from start to reset
well impressed the two locked ones wouldn't respond to flashing with jtag using j-link
so now got me two extra working units i got 4 now lol

@ MEATY the tools not updating from internet but from the folder supplied in the rar

internet update may destroy the tool tho

(although i wouldnt risk trying so no idea if its 100% guaranteed to kill it )

well impressed with the loader wish it would do the v7.41 with different lib file

as that version only gives 60 uses before it needs reflash with jtag (or wiggler)

Why all peoples think they most smart ?!
Do as I say without any bullshit A1 step just PUSH INTERNET and wait till end.
And info off your topic question . It not work on new LIB and new serial.
If someone will donate some solution as I was writed I will give solution for new LIB tool.
Without any participate in these TRADE no more from me about CarProg.

I never haved that problem ... Did your tool was locked ? Maybe is problem in DUMP MCU.
Reflash tool with new FW via JTAG and test.Maybe your LIB file is corrupt ....

Its no need any driver its HUMAN DEVICE USB so XP automatic up driver.
I think u have problem in MCU FW.
Very possible u missing LIB number in MCU DUMP.Or you probe to manipulate with it ;-)

Hi.After reflashing CP unit I make counter down to 250 and after trying usb solution everything seems to be ok.

Tested today with Carpog 4.01 , worked 100%

After a view tests i think something is wrong with this solution.Just after flashing device I try to get down counter to 250 then use Elchip solution and everything was ok,but when I used view times just to read some chips suddenlly couter reset to 61.After all I was trying usb reset and it was ok,but again after using view times comes back lib file error.Like now i decide to stay with normal Jlink flashing.Maybe only my carprog heave problems like this I just dont know.

Caused a LIB file Error in my CarProg almost immediately. Had to JTAG program it to revive it..
