It is an Id46 transponder,

Best to use an original remote key with onboard chip, the car will not recognise a standard PCF7936.

2002 can be a funny year if you have a late registered vehicle , ive seen some older vectra B on this year as well as the newer vectra c .

if as i suspect this is the new vectra C then no you cannot use a 7936 chip , the vectra c must have a remote key coded to it where the chip is integrated on the circuit board.
The only way you can put a non remote key to this is by using a small board instead of a remote key , but these are expensive , you can buy these from hickleys in the uk item zed46 , but by the time you buy this and the blank its only ?18 cheaper than a full remote key .

2nd hand remotes are no use to you , a plain 7936 chip is no good to you , a non remote key is only an option if using the zed46 board , my advice is forget on the cheap and program a new remote key to it.

if its a late registered vectra b which i doubt , but possible , then it will use an id40 chip and a standard non remote key can be coded in , the remote will most likely be a 2 button and 2nd hand remotes can be used if an older vectra b model.

so your options depends on whether the 1st of the vectra c models or the last of the vectra b models , if vectra b you can do on cheap , if vectra c then order a new flip remote key.

as you have stated yours is a vectra c 2002 , then you must forget a 7936 as wasting your time , forget used remote as wasting your time , you need a new virgin remote key to get this sorted out

Hallo

Simaservis have you tried to build this small circuit?
I have a Vectra C and need a new spare key, but without remote.
I've read that Vectra C need a remote with precoded pcf7936 and a key without remote can't work.
So I ask to you if you have sucessfull build this circuit and what type of pcf7936 have you used ?
I meant a pcf7936 that some china seller sold as suitable also for renault car?
Many thanks.

Cheers

simaservis.........Forget it, just buy the remote, the zed46 is a bad idea it doesnt even fit into any key its to big, too expensive. You CAN'T use a 7936 at all either.
it must be a 7946 precoded on zedbull or similar so the locking works
