Hi!

Can someone explain me what kind of software should I use to generate code (long coding) for ESP module? I want to recode ABS/ESP module because coding is: 000000000000000000000000000000000000. (i've changed instrument cluster... :grey: )

AVDI has a coding helper which will give you codes, Ive not used it for abs but the stuff I ahve used it on worked pretty well, I also know VCDS in its later versions has coding advice

i went into the installation list and it was off. Once I turned it on, tried the coding belouadi gave me and it did not work. It rejected it. I tried a few other codes from matching cars, but it still didnt work.

So now im thinking, it might be the actual module is messed up. So I might get a replacement, but i dont want it to reject the code on the new module.

Would anyone know where the module is and how i can replace it?

I have a problem with a 2012 skoda fabia 1.2 tsi, after swapping the engine ecu and dash for a used one the abs has lost its coding,
the vin that is stored in the dash has obviously changed now, I have the full licensed vcds so hopefully I can input the correct code.

Hello,
New dash was from car RHD with maxidot and it was mounted for a moment to checking some funkctions. My friend turn ignition on and ABS has lost coding. Now there is the old dash (oryginal from this car) and it stay in this car.
If you want VIN from the new dash I must replace it again and check.
I probably can't do that today, but tomorrow it is possible.
