I have never done this job before, so just after a little info to go armed with.

I have done transponder by eeprom many times, ID48 type.

I need to know how to program remote and what tool can do this, and if pincode needed or not, if so, is pincode same as immo pincode or other pin code?

Thanks for any info, ninja

PIN IS NeEDED, read bsi , calculate pin code, and add remote with diagnostic, and yes pin code is same for immo....

Pincode is needed, and you need remote for Ducato, one for Stilo won't work.

U gonna need to pre code the transponder and then u assemble the bsi back into the car and program with pin code..

Use MVPPRO mate, no tokens needed to program remote.
Use AVDI to pull the PIN code (same pincode as key programming).

Any other tool except AD do it? Never replaced MVP after stolen, Might consider buying a china M8 as still seems to have some coverage that nothing else can cope with.

Thanks for all your replies, I will ask this question here, maybe should be a new thread but here goes:

Would I benefit from owning an MVP PRO or M8 etc, when I have the following:

AVDI full original
TMPro
Clone MVP
SBB
SKP900
Autocom
Launch diagun III
Ford IDS
Ori Vaux com
Xprog
EFfi
clone zedbull
VCDS
GQ4X
Carprog

Thanks for highlighting any coverage that I dont have.

Subaru, Honda , dawhoo , chevrolet , gm, jaguar, all this late models you can't do with your tools, for this I buy gscan and x100 becouse it doesn't have token system and it cost the same as MVP pro, mybe I missed some Brands

What about Saab 9-3 box keys?

That's about all I use the AD MVP for these days.

I do these manually if all keys lost, and im sure old clone mvp can add keys if already got a working one.

Honda is covered by launch, GM by AVDI and Jaguar by SKP, I think I can live without the others for now, so once again, no need to buy a MVP PRO, unless anyone here can change my mind :)

X100 seems cheap enough to cover the asian gap, might try one.

I think you do not need mvp you already have good tools....

MVPPRO is one of those tools that is a last resort tool but I wouldn't be without mine.
AD are normally one of the first to release new software so its worth having for something odd or brand new in my opinion.

I'm not sure but don't think none of your tools could do Honda 8E keys. I'm also not sure if you can add box keys for SAAB 9-3 using MVP clone because you normally get pin online from (AD) unless you can get from somewhere else.

BMW Mini adding remote barcode I normally use MVP don't know what other tools can do that to.

Other then that you well equipped mate! I Would add a programmer orange5 or something to the mix. (But guess you use upa and are happy)

ok, back to the fiat ducatto, im ok on the ID48 ones now, up to 2010 models, but after that, they are ID46, and I see they need precoding, are the keys the same as grande punto and fiat 500 remote keys?

I got module 59 on TMPro, but I see other module that cover the ducatto, but other module also lists punto???

Any TMPro users with any advice here?

Thanks again, ninja

If your wanting to program remote keys to the newer ducatos boxers relays you will also need module 112 ,this is a great tool i have found and only 1 available that enables us to program a remote key to these vahicles

welcome aboard mr AC!! nice to see you here too.

I know tmpro is good, thats why I have it :)

But I just thought that 1 module would cover this type of key, obviously I am wrong, got other related modules now.

PS - do you know how much ???? fiat charge for 1xremote & 1xstandard key for a grande punto when all keys lost?

For new Ducato with black body with 95640 eprom very good is Advanced Code EVO. I use this tool and program remote keys for this cars.
