Hey guys,

I accidentaly written a key to wrong dump, but I have dump that I locked it to.
Can someone help and unlock PCF7936 please?
Dump from immo is attached.
What fields need to be written where for it to be unlocked?
Hassle is that I cut the key,and transponder is built in key, can't be changed,so if there is possibility to unlock,so I don't throw away new key.

Regards
Sima

crypto low is 4 bytes = page 1

crypto hi is last 2 bytes = page 2

if you not proper make first byte cfg on page 3 you didnt unlock anyway this transponder

Hi. In Factory Configuration Field you have Crypto Lo and Crypto Hi bytes. In this place you need to put your 4+2 bytes. In this way you enable the machine to communicate with transponder. After that in Page 1 write factory(4D 49 4B 52) 4 bytes Crypto Lo and press Write Button. Now Crypto Lo is already set to factory state and you need to proceed with crypto Hi. In Factory Conf Field now put 4 factory Crypto Lo bytes (4D 49 4B 52) and yours 2 Crypto Hi bytes. Then in Page 2 (LSB part) enter the 2 factory crypto Hi bytes(4F 4E) and press write button. Now you have transponder in factory state. But as gepakg said if page 3 MSB is enabled then ...........:)

to put this factory state crypto hi-lo first he must know crypto bytes from whom is locked by dump,if it dont know never possibility to put in factory state...

yes, Gepa. Absolutely right. This is valid if hi-lo bytes are known.:top:

In the end I gave up,had no time to test anymore.
Just made a whole new key.
Job done.
Thanks to all who tried.

When you have still this key then my data is 99% correct. Just try.

I am interested in finding this solution, so -

If reading a key before programming, can this virgin data be used to unlock the transponder? Or need more?

new transponder you will always get with same data as we explain in later posts, when you lock them you need exactly cypto hi-lo bytes to with is locked and of course cfg byte must be proper for unlocking,if itsnt binary activated MSB or something else, then impossible unlocking anyway...
