This problem is with ADG1406BRUZ and ADG1404YRUZ ics and maybe the L9637D K-line ic and K7 relay.

" solution, its works perfectly, but if you have any question pls contact with him.

If you will remove these ics and solderind 6 pins then works perfectly.

Yes you are right but if removed all parts then will works perfectly,
I tested it some cars... like BMW E60 Opel Ecu (K-line or CAN)...etc

But i found one more problem, pls check the attachment

This is MOSFET relay and some relays shorted or damaged, but i dont know why?

If the damaged the ADG1406BRUZ then pls check are the following relay: K6,K7,K8,K12

If you will solder beetwen the two pins 1pce 0Ohm 0805 resistor then will be saving the MCU ports.

Try to checking are the following relays: K6,K7,K8,K12 and K15 and pls check the ADG1404YRUZ ic.

the only difference that I have found no voltage at the terminal of the side that c48 micromax made a bridge with adg 1406
with the software phase research uniter output omeron I have a small voltage fluctuation proves that he wants to communicate with the car

Then, for an OBD cable that also I sent him away.

He recevied all the stuffs but after 2 months he ask refund for all transaction on paypal because of missing delivery.
Of course I have the tracking information about receiving all the packages.

Noone should help him, please.

I advise to not make any business with him!!!

You have to open it and see it. Check resistors first

the thing is it only working on old versions of programmer like VAG 18, is there is away for newer version like VAG 21 to work on my unit .

And another questions from new user of FVDI, (clone of clone, i guess.Seller told me: "plastic case version, better made than paper box one") Should it somehow read micronas cdc32xx from instrument cluster?
Because i am dissapointed. First i tried to add keys to 2010 Audi A3- no success. Engine 1,6 CR TDI (not programmable it claims), cluster with eeprom and micronas. I said to myself: "oh well, equipment is cloned piece of crap, and car is relative new". Then, i tried to read pin from my own Xsara Picasso Bsi,(older version) again no success. I said: "well, maybe it's time to buy newer car, this one is too old for my FVDI"
But when it fails also add key to Skoda Roomster (dash same as old Fabia and Ibiza, no dealer key needed, EDC15 1,4 tdi "hand compactor" engine) i was seriously pissed off.

The only good thing was: diagnostic worked well, and FVDI gave me login from cluster, but i had to use VCDS to add key. (I suspect the adaptation channel was different from deafult, because VCDS has two channels to Add keys, one worked, another not.) I could do it faster by open EDC, read 24c04 and use my GENUINE VCDS which never dissapointed me.
Oh, and the antenna doesn't recognize any chips. Programmer is recognized, led's blinking but that's all. Btw antenna cable looks like cable from cheapest chinese speaker set.I'm affraid it'll crack, when it will be cold.

ps. Any idea what resistance antenna should have?

Your fvdi is a softdog version F06580 and you need to use the new fwgenerator_v36 and new fwdownloader with online.

Error 4 is a fw.bin error.

For example, when I try to use even the diagnostic function on the instrument cluster of a VW Golf Mk4 1.4 16V the interface connects to the cluster but after 5-6 seconds it looses connection. My question is: if I use Micromax's solution will all the interface's function work? Or should I first try and change the ADG1404YRUZ to see if it works?

Firstly , pls delete the tag.prg from the Common/Tag folder. After pls checking again.

If does not working then pls use firstly diagnostic section with VAG18 and after the special functions.

This is BOO RB dashboard, golf IV. Its maybe the jubileum version and i have one solution.
This dashboard rolling seed code version and if the fvdi cannot setting the seedkey then this dashboard will be close.
pls remove from the car and pls try again in desk.

There is literally thousands of posts all around internet about fvdi fly, fvdi fly clone, avdi original, svdi....what they work what does not, prices, manuals , fixes, rework..... just use google and it is best way to figure out yourself, it is not that complicated if you are in this bussines...just use search, read , compare prices...etc...

Hi,

Your FVDI is a fly company product with softdog. Pls read again this thread Fly company infos.

Fly company will be erasing all FVDIs when you dont pay more period. That is why that your fvdi died, softdog working but fvdi not. No led flashing or lightning.

Pls contact with Miller from fly company.

Hi Gopelhu, i wrecked my fvdi with reading a Toyota avensis with 4A-FE engine. Pin 9 got the full load of high voltage from the dlc connector of the car and now the fvdi is dead. i replaced the lpc1788 and lots of other components on the board an needs new programming of the lpc now, and the solide state relay K4 in the picture is leading to knowhere on the board, atleast i couldend find it maybe you can tell me to where the pin goos?

Hello, i have problem with my FVDI 2015. My SN is F10477, i mean is FLY clone. It work good but suddenly not work and write Connection error: Interface not calibrated.
I tryed write to support to Flyobd.com and support connect to my PC with Teamviewer andy tryed reflash FVDI with table.dat file andy still not work after 3 hours try. Then he said Send to our factory in china and I repair here on product machine. Can anyone help me and say what i need to do that the fvdi work? What is solution?
BTW - if I connect tag tool - not blink any Led on tool

I bought AVDI original and Genuine from http://abrites.com/home. But It still got that Problem - Connection error: Interface not calibrated.
i complain to Abrites Company, they send 5-10 times of Firmware software to update but Cannot repair, I also sent the AVDI interface for them to repair 2-3 times, I waste a lot of time and Money on Transfer. Finally, Abrites company said that you must by New one and New of some modules... etc, so he kept the modules and did not send me back!

FVDI is AVDI clone, it means cannot understand core of algorithm.
AVDI have very complicate program to avoid Hacker. It is not main function of CAR REPAIR DEVICE, just self protection. So its quality is ofcourse not stable on Working.

If your interface does not works with K-Line, please replace these ics: L9637D (this is ISO K-Line ic) and ADG1406BRUZ multiplexer ic. pls check the attachment.

1.) FVDI V2015 or higher with softdog versions:

If the pc cannot detecting any fvdi's then the LPC1788 processor was erased ( the Quickloader v6.3 and v7.0 will erasing the LPC processor ).

fvdi not led and sofdog blink red/green and error device not opened.
fvdi dead .
I got it repaired flashing lpc with uart

I have same problem with 2015.
server connection fail...
Green lights permanently on, on interface and softdog. And it happened after offline updating FW1 and FW2 with FWDownloader. But i could not update table data missing in Files folder!
interface still recognised on FWDownloader but not connectin with software, no error codes 4 or 5.

Maybe someone could share data table update file???

If the pc cannot detecting any fvdi's then the LPC1788 processor was erased ( the Quickloader v6.3 and v7.0 will erasing the LPC processor ).

yes, upgrade to v3.0 and stop working. inactive and not recognized by any PC.

my lpc1788 was deleted.
I did a reading of my lpc1788 in .hex and .bin and it was blank, I found a file fvdi 2015 in this post and I loaded it with flash magic, the led and the pc already recognize fvdi 2018 but the software gives error of calibration and error 5

I also got another FVDI 2015 to which I was connected softdog from another FVDI and then NXP was programmed with other firmware. Now it is completely unconnected with the computer. SN F11450.

it should be a 220 ohm resistor, there is another one at the opposite behind the USB connector and in between are two capacitors with unknown value, try with 10 or 100 nF when you need those too (picture is still crap, too small to see any details...)

on mine it's a 22 ohm resistor (code 220) just like the one at the other side of the USB connector - in your case they mounted a 27 ohm resistor (code 270) so you might put a 27 ohm for balance....

Hello, i have FVDI 2016 from flyobd.com and after connecting to the server device stopped working. Green/red light on FVDI is not flashing, no response, pc won't detect. i reworked my key tag tool a week ago with 680pf ceramic condensator,
bought 2 transponders id46 pcf7936, i only could identify 1 of 2 (programmed the one identified)

i then ordered another 2 and i cant identify nor read them, afterwards i could get another two transponders and those arent working either, so my question is i read something about 4 byte in this thread -> what is the issue?

EDIT: turns out the ones i received from the dealer dont work, bought from different guys on ebay and they do work fine!

does anyone have fw.bin and db.bin for an FVDI 2014 clone and audiV6-1.pcb ?

First I started to have it in "Interface not calibrated" but I found that there was an hardware failure and it was not getting to the db.bin info. Now I figure out the hardware problem but when I was testing I have updated with wrong fw.bin.
And now I have it in blinking RED and error 4. :(

I only need the right fw.bin and db.bin, please!

Hi, i read threads on this forum about fvdi, but i cant find a information about updates. I seen that you research about this interface and software. Is there any way to flash nxp with new version of firmware to use latest software? And i have a problem with my interface im not shure is version of 2014 or 2015 using old software, when i start quick launcher and select some module interface is checked and say connected but when i checking flasher says there is no programmer connected. Also have problem with can line. But this problem is not permanent. when program accsess to programmer then can protocol also work. Do you know anything about this?

Why the fvdi2 have the vvdi2 4.2.1 software and the fvdi2018 only 1.2.2

On my fvdi2018 vvdi run not so stable and it cant read bcm2.

Vvdi2 4.2.1 can read bcm2 an much more funktions on FVDI2

I think a solution is interesting for all with a normal fvdi.

I bought FVDI 2018 clone made by STIC Company i think, and i am not happy with it,
i try it to do dash on MB W212, W218, W221, and none of them cant correct km
in W212 killed the CGW... now kills itself, no led lights, no usb recognition on computer. . .
It uses LPC1788 as Main Microcontroller and MAXQ1850DS Secure Microcontroller for softdog
i think FVDI 2014 is better and more stable till now.

I think that the bootloader is deleted by server, need to rewrite it via uart,
pls. if someone can help me with boot file for fvdi2018.

Please dont try to reflash your FVDI if it is working OK!

To prog. the LPC1788 use MagicFlash + FTDI USB to TTL Serial Adapter 3.3V

Hi to all!
I have a problem with FVDI 2014 with loader V6.0.
I've tried to connect to EDC15 k-line but after connect and identify the FVDI disconects from ECU. Guessing voltage drop.
I've swaped ADG1406BRUZ, ADG1404YRUZ and K-line ic L9637D but same problem. Also tryed to swap K9 relay with omron g3vm-61G1 (Relay: solid state; SPST-NO; Icntrl:25mA; 400mA; max60VAC; SMT), but after that the FVDI does not conect to ECU at all, soo I put the old relay back.
I don't know what to change to make FVDI read EEPROM from RDC15P+.
