Acer Aspire v5-571 BIOS password/unlock key, please

Could somebody unlock an Acer Aspire v5-571 Bios, please?

The unlock key hint number is 96111D34.

why not to reinstall the windows ?
is it laptop or desktop ?

It's a laptop.
Tried removing CMOS battery for 5 hours, didn't help.
Shorted the jumpers, didn't help.
Tried to flash BIOS from USB, no luck.

I can't get as far as to select or change boot order, as the laptop is locked.

The only way I can get it to boot from USB flashdrive if I remove the HDD.

Here we go:

I managed to install windows 7 from another HDD and start up the laptop. I flashed BIOS from windows. The computer is unlocked now, I can start it, but when I want to login to BIOS it is still looking for a password.
I tried this, no luck, Bios login pw is still present:

Tried CMOS De-Animator too.

any ideas how to delete the password?

ones you burn this soft to cd as iso then this soft will do it for you.
i did it on windows xp vista 7 no problem

Burnt it and didn't boot from it. I don't think you can boot from a 140 b file.

i just tried on my comp works 100%

How many files you have on the disc you boot from?
i only have one .xpe
Tried it in other laptops, none of them can boot from it.

Thanks for your help, I got it sorted with shorting the hardware gap a few times. At least 15 attempts :)

Why dint you just either :

Remove cmos battery for 5 minutes, replace reboot or
Set cmos jumper on main board to clear, reset and replace

Both methods would reset bios to std settings without all the fussing about above.

If that failed, there are some bios's that have master codes, these can be obtained by googling the make Vendor of the Bios

CMOS battery was out for 5 hours. Password is stored in EEPROM. It's a laptop. You probably missed a few sentences.
None of the master passwords worked, believe me, tried a few.

No need to apologize, and I didn't want to sound rude.
In case of older laptops removing the CMOS battery would clear the pw, but in newer models for stronger theft protection they use eeproms, that will remember no matter how long you have the battery out.

Of course I found the paid BIOS password removal sites, but I wasn't sure i would get the working code for my money. :-)
Acer wanted me to send it back to them to remove the pw. All for ?55+ postage.

Because this is one of the many laptops I got as a job lot from the UK i have to check if it worth repairing before i spend any money on it.
