Somebody already tried this before,and failed,still Radio safe on display.

First step - you must know real CAR PASS (same car login).
Second step - registration unit login (if unit used).
usually DISPLAY pass equal CAR pass.

I created an unregister file code 0000
then I selected on martech registering to lcd based on 93c66 grundig opel
load file selected then say this algo requires 2 files.Select first then second file.
then if I select any of the two bin files it gives me an error in the file size

I have same situation.
I bought GID display from scrapyard. Have read the eeprom and later extracted the code.
So I have an Opcom and I divorced the TID and CD30MP3.
Take out TID and put GID in, put radio in.
Got two messages, display sade and radio safe and annoying beep every 5-6 sec.
I divorced GID with its code (extracted from bin).
Then I married GID and CD30MP3.
But still got Radio safe and beep.

So, what to do now?

Program unregistered dump to your radio that you will get here based on your original radio dump.

Activate Radio theft protection with your GID code.

Quite correct. Under display there is this opcom which enables a unit to be paired/unpaired for use with an aftermarket headunit

the display still coded but the radio clear.

When you 'activate theft protection' from EHU make sure the mid-speed canbus is the same in the radio and display and to pair them you must use the code of 8603 which is the code of the locked display.

Tried that already and nothing happened.
Checked 5 times mid-speed. Its all the same under persent/not present.

But, I changed the VIN in the GID before I tried to marry.
I put my cars VIN instead of the vin which was there.
Maybe that is making problem?

What is data display, dont understand?
Code index in display is 007, in radio 011, in IPC 001

It shows range, current and average consumption, temperature, date and RDS text from radio.

All that data is OK

Dont have UHP or ECC

So, i made one word document for my car according to its equipment and I set it all up according to that

when you log into either the EHU or the DIS there are items in the menu. One of the items with be Data Display, it lists details which are currently 'live' about the item you have logged in to.. you cant miss it..

I solved that with unregistered bin for radio.
Now radio and GID are married.
But got another problem.
Display shows Program Display message.
I tried to program with Opcom, but it wont program it.

Any ideas?

I have some news about this.
GID and CD30MP3 are sucesfully paired with help of our colleague from forum.
So, now I have message "Program display" on display every 8-10 sec and "famous" beep sound.
Only thing which can do that is GM/Opel Tech 2 device.
So I get one, under few conditions.
It was broken, so first I had to figure out what is wrong and is it possible to fix it.
My work mate helped me and problem is in DC-DC converter. Its dead.

That part is common failure on Tech 2 devices.
Its on way to me from UK (RS Components).

When I het it I will be able to flash PCMCIA card to newest Opel software.
I already have image.

OK, I still have a problem, and famous BEEEEP is here every 7-8 secnds
I returned original dumps to display and radio.
Now have radio safe message, display shows all the data from sensors correctly.
I visited official Opel service and gave them the code 8063 of the display to got it married, but it was not sucessful.
When the guy entered in the EHU it was showing message that it's in delivery mode, so no security code in it.
Anyway it wasnt accepting display code at all.

So, what to do now?
Need help please, I am listening BEEEEP every 7-8 secnds for last 6 months.

Did the guy with tech2 know to set the midspeed canbus all the same on the EHU, DIS and also UHP and ECC if fitted? If all the midspeed units are not the same then it wont work, even if you have the correct code

Checked it twice, and nothing.
Then he made a reset and set all over again and nothing again.
Mid speed can is the same in both all the time.

Car has manual Air conditioning and have no UHP.

Is it possible to put paired dumps from someones car, of course with the same radio and display model?

yes, as long as the ident matches exactly on both units, ie the radio has an ident of LQ and the display of DB for example..

Funny thing is that I have a code from the dump which is in it.
Its 8063
So, with GM tools it wont accept it.
But this morning I tried with my Opcom and it accepts it, but beep is still here and the message too.

Is there any way to make virgin dump for display and then I marry them with my code from car pass, my car code which is 2661 ?

I replaced TID with BID (then safe message is anoying me).

1) How I have to proceed to get the BIN file? I have to remove the IC or there is other way to read the BIN file?

Yes indeed, no opcom ,no tech2.
the display was the original of the car , I just changed the radio,all functions go and controls on the steering wheel

I'm not aware of any software that does it for you and I don't have OSCR, but don't really have any need for it. And yes the code itself is crypted, but not heavily. The important data that stops "Display Safe" being triggered is more complex.

I read the chip several times today and used a cd30 decoder that I found on here. Each time I got a different 11 digit security code. Other info such as model type and software date are correct.
The chip is a ST 24c32wp. I'm reading it with an ezp2010 and selecting 24 eeprom st 24c32 as there is no 24c32wp option.
I need the security code to programme a replacement ecu. I thought getting the code out of the radio would be the easiest way to get it because I replaced the radio with an aftermarket one and had the original radio in the garage but I guess I'll have to look else where.

The only calc on here is useless and just confuses people,
if you read the eeprom correctly then we can solve it for you,
check your settings or use another programmer (Off the board)

Here is the file for your radio, but you don't know the password of the car and you don't know if the display is original for this car! ?? I don't know how to marry them when you don't know these things !? Wait for member Shooting, his answer maybe he will point you in the right direction!

If your Immo and Display are different then at some point the display has been changed,
you need to check MID can and retries from display first before pairing.
You also need a proper OBD2 tool... Cheap Chinese tools don't work properly, they only work if everything is perfect...
