After saving the file sent by Plcautoparts. Now I have a DTC B223D (OCM DTC present). please can you tell me how to reset this fault?
Thank you for your help

The code you are getting, B223D, is indicating that the occupant classification ecu is reporting a problem (or not reporting at all). The code is not indicating an actual problem with the SRS system/ecu, only with the associated occupant ecu

Usually these do not store hard crash code. They just need the passenger seat rezeroed with scan tool.

First it will want the seat empty, then it will want 30kg of weight in the seat, and finally empty again. Then light will go out, system OK

He could scan the OCM to get the specific code from it if he can communicate with it. There may be another problem in the seat other than calibration.

True, however I am assuming he had a deployment event since he posted file here. And I know these lancers will set that exact code whenever a bag and or seatbelt deploys.

He does need to access the Occupant Control Module to access Special Functions and recalibrate seat sensor.
99% of time After deployment with code B223D in SRS Ecu, simple recalibrate is all that's needed.

And I have yet to come across one that stores latched or hard crash codes either

Good info to know. Do you know what scanners can do the recal other than factory?

I've had great success with Launch x431. Cheap price for its capabilities. I've had experience with the Diagun line and their Bluetooth Android powered iDiag. That has become my go to scanner, it fits in my pocket and all software is on my phone.
Best is Maxisys 908 but that's overkill for most.

you would need weights to calibrate for sure,, 30kg

Thank you for your comments, I have tried by various means to eliminate this DTC but still the problem persists. special functions I not find the option to recalibrate the passenger aciento. Please can watch the video and comment on that?
where I have to enter to perform the recalibration of the passenger seat?
Thank you for your help.
Kolocar file says the same DTC B223D

The problem is that you are going into the airbag module with the scan tool and not the OCM which is occupancy module. I have done tons of these cars and never removed the airbag module, the airbag module does not store crash, just hooked up the launch x431 went into OCM module not SRS module, and when you go to OCM, click special functions and seat calibration

Are you saying the airbag module don't store crash data? and that with zero or calibration of the OCM is all it takes to clear the light?>
or i misundertood you?

Right, yes these modules do not store crash data. Much like older Chrysler but they always require pass west weight rezeroed

I wonder how i had clear 10 of those modules and never had to calibrate any seat, or have any of my customer had to calibrate any passenger seat neither.
