Samic promised HC(9)08 supported in next SW...i think this month... :listen: the rest HC05 and HC11 without any other info... :dontknow:

about the Xprog clone...everybody know this HW incl. his positive and negative pages... :)
my experience: R270 erase flash of 3K91D very easy, many users have this same experience
Xprog erase it too...after writing verify OK, but again reading give only ~~~~ results...
in this case only VVDI Prog read 3K91D without any problems, not erase flash, when read only eeproms and read or verify flash how many times you want..

not exist any 100% tool what can read everything without any errors...but i think VVDI Prog have in this tools area good begin... ;)
...only the updates and covering can be sure more faster then are now... :apthy: not only HCxx but the other as MPC/SPC...and more and more others... :)

Because now for example we need to see what MCU each EZS brings and search in the MENU for that MCU.
An idea:

It is just to do more faster, because now we need to see the pictures from W209, look what mask have and then look into sofware for the right mask.
There is some types of EIS you cannot see the mask, and if you have detailed it will be more easier to find.

Just an idea nothing more.

i read this EZS with 3K91D more then 1 week ago using the version before VVDI Prog 4.4.5 directly as MCU MC912DG128A without remove the resistor(keep it there) and without any problems...

i try now with version VVDI Prog 4.4.6, remove the resistor 240 ohm and as W211_HC12 not read this MCU anymore anytime....maybe 1x successful from 20 unsuccessful attempts, but not more...!!!???

then i put the resistor back and read 3K91D back under VVDI Prog 4.4.6 without any problems....;) but writing+verify OK, when only writing and after try to read, then is erased... :(

3K91D need sure more research, because this state is not good and not usable in real work with this MCU :( :(

Really strange!!
When i read first time its read successfully but all data corrupted..
Then i removed resistor and try again , its read the same crrupted eep .
Now with resistor removed i wrote a new good eeprom then read it ..its read the same good eeprom .
Tomorrow i will try to resolder resistor and try again then will post resault.
To samic can you tell us somthing about this problem please ?

i use this modification (picture) and work for me on 3K91D without problems...resistor keep on MCU V2 cable :)
so i read this MCU with the older v.4.4.5 version use MCU type 912DG128 directly....
now with the newer v4.4.6 eeprom read, content not erased, flash read, content not erased...tested on 2 different pcs of EZS/EIS with 3K91D ;)
i remember, when this pins from second (service) rear outside connector use Xprog for his EZS direct cable, because there are RESET and BKGD directly wired... ;)

I found the error, my MCU wires coming misplaced positive, and had to change his position.
now it works well and can read the ID- the 1L59W.
also I upload the Pinaut to work better,
the positive change of position, this position does not verification error, it is more reliable.
The Bkgd to be more direct to the leg of the MCU and separated from Reset.
GND may be in both places, no matter is mass.

THIS PINOUT also serves to Xprog. climbed a partner here in DK.

the red wire was connected to the GND position before, so had no positive, to give power to the power supply, short beep heard, I sensed that there was an error in the cables.

i mean that....i now checked my cable....and this fault was only in "your" cable plug...maybe you have lucky for this badly soldered pcs...in my cable, have the same V1 version, is the RED power cable on right place soldered...then not need anything to change... :)
i read with this cable till today many MCU's...and no any problems.. ;)

in fact,this chip the valid is custom bin file with 32KB,VVDI PROG read this 32KB data.we will develop 'convert software' for 32KB auto transfer to 64KB file.

VVDI Prog v4.4.7 software is bad. It have bug: Ater any first step (Read or Read ID) second step give Device Error message. Need reconnect USB and restart software. With 4.4.6 version all OK.

Today I killed cas 3+
Read eep ok .
Write new eep after make a new key by tango faild to write .
Reinstall cas to car ,its not start even with original key.
Finally I solved it with new flash by xprog .

Instead of this most members here always ask for solution, and very few provide help. In addition here are many files, photos etc. so very selfish demand...in my opinion of course... :)

Problem to give photo of course not. Problem to give info of course yes.
I also have started many many cars here also for free but this is not the point.
I have also lost many customers from dk members who gave half and less price, just because they know nothing and ask help from here. But this is not also the point...the problem is not connections...connections can be found anywhere.
In addition you ask this to guys who spent their time cloning other tools...so you think this is fare for other producers??? :)

VVDI option is not meant for original keys - except keys programmed via VVDI.

Chinese alway use the term OEM incorrect and they mean third party / clone

I suppose you have cleaned the legs of the EEP.:-)
the first VVDI-Prog have the sticker point 1 changed.
peel it off and turn it around.. :-)
we briefly changes the position of point 1 of the EEP.
I assure you can read 93C86. :-)

Tried with and without external +12V supply.
Also tried manual frequency 8MHz and 4MHz. (I saw it was tested automatically but tried anyway.)
Tried with and without FLMD1 connected. (Not used by other programmers)
Also lifted 2 pins that you can see on pictures that were connected to RXD and TXD lines.
Using MCU Reflash Cable V2 (verified connections inside, yellow wire on correct location, also did continuity test on the other wires)
I tested myself the test points where I'm soldering against the MCU pins.

Some technical stuff for Samic:
VCC is set to 4.5V as default and measured 4.55V on pcb.
FLMD1 always at 0V.
FLMD0 pulled up to 3.5V.
RESET when goes up reaches 4.5V.
TXD when goes up reaches 3.9V, RXD 3.3V, bit timing of both RXD and TXD at any frequency set is always 104us (9600 baudrate).
Oscillator on board is 8MHz.
There are messages on both RXD and TXD.



Any solution?



(It's the first time I'm using this VVDI-prog for any MCU, no idea if the unit has problems)

Just received another programmer that reads it fine.
