With vvdi i ve done all keys on mercedes.......i didnt have any problem....but i try for my first time to unblock the esl nec with adaptor for 4 days.....and nothing.......this is the only problem i have with vvdi.....

You should just use the USED EIS and generate new keys with VVDI from hc05 and you get all password to generate new key.. dont move hc05 to the used EIS.. Will not work.. I've tried it..

1. Fix the bug that W164/W639 EIS data doesn't synchronize the key.
2. Fix the bug that the BE key fails to turn on the ignition after repeat try.
3. Fix the bug of trunk remote open
4. Fix the bug that the BE key only transmitted RF signal for one time, after update, the RF signal can be transmitted for two times when press and release the key.
5. Modify the rolling algorithm, fix some errors of BE key.
6. Add pre-roll algorithm: the HASH value can roll ahead.
7. Adopt car-grade quartz crystal, improve infrared communication stability.
8. Boost the infrared signal when you press the button.

9. Support resetting the key frequency between 315MHZ and 433.92 in the way of VVDI MB tool or the PCB SMD resistor
Tip: VVDI MB tool has priority over the SMD resistor, which means if you reset the key frequency with VVDI MB tool at first, the SMD resistor won't work, and you need to use the VVDI MB tool to erase the frequency then use the SMD resistor.

I was using a previously ESL from another car that had been unlocked because the NEC from this ESL is still trying to be unlocked as we speak!
I have not been able to adapt any ESL to this car using the same method, the personalisation function says it's successful but it does not work.
When you read it be ESL tools, it is not marked as personalised or Activated. It also wont let me write a VIN into it.


I tried with an Xhorse ESL emulator and it makes the lock, unlock sound but same thing, its not marked as personalised or activated.
The car does crank and try and start with the Emulator in it though.

Any thoughts on what is happening here?

Anyone did all keys lost with OBD with power adapter? I ve never tried.

Sorry, Power Adaptor is for bench, not OBD. I dotn think it'll work on car.

Done a couple W204. Takes about 20 mins to do data acquisition, then same procedure as slow procedure.

First one, I had a spare key, but I wanted to test the power adaptor. 20 mins later had all the data. uploaded it. And failed to find password. Didnt want to wait another 20 mins to do it again, used the working key on that one.

Second EIS, 20 mins to get data aqusition. Uploaded, and password in less than a minute. So working key in 25 mins, start to finish.

Power adaptor is a slightly weird device. Doest read EIS SSID or hashes with it plugged in. Only plug it in to get FAST data acquisition.

You can get password from a working key, or from eeprom. There is another tool, but it takes many hours from what I heard. Quicker to read proc.
Read proc with ETL, VVDIprog, smok, etc etc. Its protected HC05. Be careful that what you use will get past the security; very easy to erase the data.

164 545 05 08 + 164 545 07 08 - Motorola ST12

164 545 09 08 + 164 545 11 08 + 164 545 13 08 - Old Type with NEC

All Part numbers beginning with 221 are Old type with NEC

If Part number beginning with 216 then it is New type with NEC

Car C180 from 1999. Car does not start. If put key nothing happens. Elv does not react.
If not the key must be coil Eis?
Solution is donor eis?

You checked the key and reads normal in VVDI, yes or no?
Did you read the EZS with VVDI IR adapter or by OBD?

Oh, now I noticed client is away. Ask him to remove his EZS and send it to you with the key. Probably will be cheaper than going back and forth two times to him.
You need to troubleshoot first - you can't just figure it out through the phone because reasons could be many.

I am not sure, but if you want to make a 2nd key, you can read password like how you read a BGA key password, I think the VVDI can do it, but nobody confirmed if it works with NEC keys. The Zed-Full can do it, so I think even the VVDI can do it.

Sometimes resoldering isnt enough. Try to change oscilator and check double side pcb points, i think that pcb have broken lines.

I've been able to download, extract and install the files ok, and seems others have been able to do so too, so i don't think the issue is with the download to be honest.

I think him antyvirus do changes while file is download, in a fact MB tool must be add to "safe rules" otherwise antyvirus delete it

Personally i've only had my tool a short while now, and was able to work it out and work around the problem, knowing about the upgrade kit from other tools like VVDI2, XCmini and key tool.

On the other hand however.... why hasn't xhorse done something about this if its been like that for the last 3 months?

Hi everyone. 2003 Mbz sl500 w230 the client wants a key, keyless-go key. Can vvdi2 mb do this and is it a special key or any key can be programmed. Thnx in advance. It has a key wants a spare one and to be keyless since the car is keyless-go.
