Can be any of 10 to 47 (or none).
But if you burn the old, it is likely that burned down or punch chip.

Understand what you think, but i strongly think L1 was handbroken in factory or By Kingbolen. It needs some pressure to put PCB together, even ferrite top is missing.
So in best way nothing is burnd.

You think if connect broken IC then all stop work, ok.
If disconnect some parts working.

I cant say just feeling, it need to be exactly right L1. I can count in one hand how many coils need to be change in compere to 1000 other parts.

If burned L1 - problem with your chip.In L1 0-2 V.
If problem only ferrite-you can connect old L1 or new.
This way CAN bus.You can test with EOBD -manual select.

That is not CRACKED software for Diagun (but I must admit that picture of NXP LPC chip from Diagun Smartbox, leads to conclusion that Serial number of Smartbox is in stored that chip?!:pcguru:).

They just sell " Cation: Please don't select Download, this item is a updated chip!"

So basically you'll be got a CHip with preprogrammed serial number (you must then desolder your "old" chip and solder this "new" chip to your diagun smartbox mainboard) After that you'll be probably able to log on official LAUNCH site and dowload updates for that serial number (and you'll be sharing username and pass with other owners of that serial number)

Unpack,copy in SD card in new folder "Program".

1.For save- "Read fault code" -click in Print-Save as Image-OK
Save in Storage Card.And then see wiht Image Viewer -File-Browse -Storage Card -OK.
2.Tap on image-see.
3.When you see datastream -tap record.
Then In vehicle make interface click Histore-OK-and see
in digital or graph.
Also you can setup emulator wince on you PC and work with file.My picture from emulator.

LPT port.But in my registry no LPT port.When my Diagun
was alive i edit my registry with MS.

Becasue you need this to print and much more of this you need newer version of Display softwear becasue the previos ones has bugs ( I mean printers bugs and no support all kind of printers )

For chinese diagun update, just type "diagun" + your smartbox S/N into google, and you will find many links for update, just check date posted and size of file to get your latest update.
Reason is many chinese suppliers use same S/N, but only a few actually make the update file, but once posted, all will have links to file. This is usually quicker and better than asking support from supplier.
I did this with mine to get april update.
PS. make sure you backup your existing GAG folder.

I use my Diagun a week ( 6 days ) using bluetooth and no discharged.
But I don't know how many hours in this time I effectivally used it.
I will keep this in mind and next week I will see how long I can use it.

HI, I have bought from Sinosells and Ecutool and they are the same COMPANY. Do not be fooled as they run up a bad name for service then refer you to the next company which id the same one. I when back to ECUtool and ordered items which took approx one and half months to DISPATCH. Lousy service. I bought OPEL OPCOM cables and of the 25 units at least 60% of them failed in the the first few weeks. I only order now to replace the units I have in the market. Bad quality and if it works do not upgrade the software. Launch prices are NOT good on that site even if you are a VIP shopper. If you want to know which companies are sort of okay to deal with log onto the official X431 website. (www.x431.com (http://www.x431.com)) Now look at the pop ups warning you of who the pirate dealers are, and check if your supplier you want to use is listed.
I get daily requests to purchase these unit and most of them are on that list. Maybe you should stay away from them.

ECUtool service sucks and repairs are a nightmare. Return unit and months later it gets returned repaired. Yes out of the box and not working. Never a sorry for the inconvience.

I did notice that on the top bar once you are in a program eg. VW then the software version is displayed on the top bar. As I import the units I did notice that the latest version is 26.50 and that is how I check how new the software is. Do not go by the version software for eg BMW 44.10. This came be hex edited to show a new version but actually being very old. :laugh:

Aliexpress is still not that great, no promise of back or updates it's a take your money system.
I suggest someone who is trustworthy and can solve the problems etc, I met my supplier he is good and its all as it's ment to be but price is higher.
In China it's said need make careful choices and that so true I have been there twice and each time I struggle unless a trusted person helps me - oh and my X431 man treats me to sn awsum fish lunch!! So because I trust him I stay with him etc

I open the box, connect the PDA to the main power supply and configure the windows ce enviroment to spanish, (all ok) , run launch software and in the label setting change the display language to spanish ( all ok)

run a car brand , and all dtc an option run in english, i contact to the seller , and say that all diagun only run english, I ask for the user and password for login in the launch web and dounload the right language and say me that only posible by email, that not posible login in launch page, this seller say that is oficial launch reseller and that the software is not clone .

can any say me how can change the language to spanish , and if is normal that original launch machines not can update from web, I have other diagun brought to the oficial reseller in spain , and all is in spanish and can log in the web for updates

First of all you cheated
You cannot buy genuine Diagun from Chinqa and you'll can download the updates by yourself
Just because you must be in China and have Chinese IP.
And if your S/N was sold in China to a reseller you'll have downloads just in Chinese.
You'll see in the futhure that you'll haven't recive updates just because they cannot supply to you.
To change car brands softwear in Spanish you need softwears in Spanish.
No other way.
Ok most of resselrs in China bought the Diagun tool directlly from the factory but it is in Chinese.
If you wanna buy a genuine Launch in Spanish you have to contact your local branch.
Now don't contact your local branch just because in the futhure your S/N will be banned.
Take care.

If you have "original" diagun bought from official dealer, then updates are not soo big problem:hmmmm:, just reprogram your smartbox (econector, red box with bluetooth which goes into cars OBD connector) with same serial number as your "official" diagun. Then, you will have clone of your "official" diagun and you can download updates for both units at same time.

You need buy spanish GAG,but you can see folder VW -GAG\VEHICLES\DGVW\V25.71.In my folder file with EN and RU.
Search this file SPANISH from friend ,copy and check.

Just to confirm what mattydr67 is saying.

Language files are coupled with LIC files, which are encrypted just for specific serial number. :argh:

So language files wil work on your smartbox only if it are for that specific serial number and for that specific software version!:hmmmm:

Just to confirm mattydr67 words to all DK Members, despite of all rumors (:questionmark:often those rumors and hypes, are initiated by LAUNCH official dealers and distributors:argh:) clone Launch Diaguns are absolutely hardware identical with so called "original" Launch Diaguns distributed at much much higher prices by official Launch distributors.

Like many things in China copy stuff and parts are made even in Launch parts etc

All you have to do it to ask your suppliers for updates or you can buy item for one who can give you this.

Wince5 does not work with the printer - are drivers of wince2-HP PCL3.Now-PCL6.
I tried to edit the registry, but I did not get a stamp. I do not think anyone on the forum can print.

I met him 1 month ago again in China and he treated me to nice fish!
I have been studying the China clone market for a long time and everytime I find cheaper price I also find many problems or companies that cannot do any service just sell item - If problem then is your bad luck.
So I stick with the man that can solve, give after sales service even if price not the very cheapest.
But the world over the cheapest is not the best almost 99% of the time.

Open WordPad, open txt file,File-print-see you port,printrs.
Close WordPad.
Connect old printer-I test HP LaserJet P1006-wince ask name driver.
Write usbprn.dll -OK.
If windows driver close-you printer can work with wince,if no-

If windows driver close -open WordPad File-print-see you new printers-set(Or set PCL Inkjet or PCL Laser),new LPT1 port-set.OK. You printer can priht.

I have a customer with a genuine super scanner that was plugged in to 24v and apparently has damaged the main board and also touch screen.

By 24 volts I assume he tried to test a truck with it. If this is the case then he has nobody to blame but himself he would have had to have modified the plug as the obd Plug on a truck although it looks the same as a car it has a bar in the middle to stop a car plug being inserted.

First try to get off the battery and let it so for a while.
If after that you cannot see anything try to use the RESET button. If nothing happend you have to change the display I suppose, if the diplay remaind all white and you cannot do anything.

Hi guys. I have a problem with my diagun and hope someone can help me out.

It worked fine for over a year but last time a turned it in and there was no usual startup sound. That was wierd and when I wanted to start the bluetoot connection it displayed "Check the memory card". Card works ok on laptop and even tried new memory card but without success. Under "My Device" no memory card is displayed. I wonder if there is a hardware or a software fault.

Also I can't turn it off from the button. Only way to shut it down is to take off the battery.

My friend it is a hardwear issue.
Yes if you haven't a card inserted in Diagun PDA you can shutting it down.
A friend of mine has same issue and it was a hardwear one.
Try other Sd card first first.
If with other card won't work so what I can say ....you had a bad luck.

Its all older stuff pre OBDII - in New Zealand OBDII is not used till much later in USA was 1996 I think??

I asked the seller in the past if they can change the serial number in case the online account get shut off - They said no.
If the cannot change the serial number then your screwed for updates it also shows lack of ability.
I suggested a seller that I met and I trust and can solve other X431 issues - This shows character and ability - MANY cannot do this.
So again I suggest my man - But the journey for your X431 is up to you careful as my Chinese friends say.
My 2 cents which I gave free to you - Stick with the better seller not the cheap seller - There is a diffrence

Take a look at the red box - the real Diagun red box hax space for 2 connectors and for the battery. One more thing : on new diagun PDA hasn't the "Auto Diagnostic tool" on the right side.
The old one has this.
But my advise is the if Mr. NZBrakelathes gave an email contact please use it, becasue it is the best one ever. I wok with him for a long time, He was our mate here in DK but a lot of peaple dosen't know how the good it is and the kiked him out.
I keep in touch with him and I recommended to him and to a lot of DK members including Mr. NZBrakelathes, who has opportunity to met him in Shenzen.

Well, sounds right, it must be cheaper than Diagun, because it lacks yellow case with additional connectors for preOBD vehicles. So only one box (red one) so shipping must be cheaper also!:stickyman:

I saw original Solo, which came only with TWO SOFTWARES: OBD AND DEMO.

Even official site declare it as "device with custom tailored support", so you must chose (and pay) for any additional bradns in software. But, that is with official Solo, those from China, cloned, maybe have more soft installed.

Hi, we are in South Africa and I have brought in a few Launch Diaguns as the local importer refused to import this product. Needless to say we are not very popular. Has anybody thought of modifing the software instead of the smartbox which would be easier. I have a open version of the old X-431 which works on any machine except the diagun of course. I would love to know of the suppplier you use NZBRAKELATHES? Are you a distributor or user in NZ. I was going to settle in NZ about 3 years ago and wanted to sell Launch products. Diagun I believe is no cracked software etc but other older X431 yes there is but I cant stand software as I got no idea how that works lol

Yes I found most suppliers in China have ZERO / NO product knowledge and any technical question will get a bad response. We have been selling equipment for 22 years and can spot the "here to make a quick buck"

Hi guys. I have a problem with my diagun and hope someone can help me out.

It worked fine for over a year but last time a turned it in and there was no usual startup sound. That was wierd and when I wanted to start the bluetoot connection it displayed "Check the memory card". Card works ok on laptop and even tried new memory card but without success. Under "My Device" no memory card is displayed. I wonder if there is a hardware or a software fault.

Also I can't turn it off from the button. Only way to shut it down is to take off the battery.

Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know that I sent my diagun back to supplier to repair. Unfortunately it was impossible and they replaced it free of charge. So now I have brand new main unit and it works ok. I had used previous one for about 1,5 years.

Really? Where? I didn't find it. If I try to see the bmps in Windows Explorer, it says "there is no associated application with ..." I speak about saved/printed screen, not about the logged parameters.

You can download and use any graphics viewer for WIN CE 5.0 and use it.

Seem like this feature has been removed from WinCE on the Diagun. When I install activesync 4.5v on my XP computer and then hookup the Diagun via USB I'm getting an error "Fatal Error in rnaap.exe"on the Diagun and no device found on the computer. I have tried it with two different Diaguns same result. I have been told that a chip will have to be replaced on the Diagun to reload the complete WinCe OS.

Frank download Mr. Sergej Diagun emulator.
He explain very well here how to do it.
It is easy.
You have to see on which com pot will be your smartbox bluetooth.
And thi must be between 1 and 8
If it is in one of this I will show you how to change this in the bat file.
It is easy.

I have a 2000 Ford focus I just bought in Holland and would like to get a key fib from a wreck add new key and program it all to work etc

I don't know if it can do this in that car
It is too old
But if you have this function I can provide you the INCODE you need to reprogramm the KEY

Take your stylus pen to press the " reset button" at the backside of diagun to reset the unit.
if still like that,backup all data from sd card and foramt the card,and then copy the software back to card to try it out
if still like this,maybe you need a new battery

i have diagun for 1 year and 5 months, after scanning an MB 2002 is damage, my diagun work now only on MB and volvo, i tried to scan VW, Renault and Bmw and receive an error (conection lost). Is here somebody who have same problem?

Last week I tried to read a '06 Ford Focus (2.0 TDCI) and couldn't reach any systems via Ford program in Diagun. Trying OBD line Diagun read the ECU but didn't show that all of the glow plugs are faulty. Therefore I think there might be a problem in smartbox.

Any idea?

Are you have posibility to switch between Launch car softwears versions?
I mean what version of VW you have? Can choose other version of VW?
I ask you thins because the Launch softwears have sometimes bugs and maybe it is not all the time an smartbox issues.
Can be an issue in that car or as I said can Launch softwer a bug.
Try with other version of softwear in same car and see what happend.
Or that controler it isn't coveraged yet.
Diagun it is not a genuine tool for any brand.
So don't worry.
And I wanna tell you that I saw a lot of clones into the market, cheep price, and this onece have a lot of bugs.
My frined NZBrakelathes can confirm that my supplier have the best tools and boughted from factory and then cloned with europeans S/N's
I never had this kind of issues, I mean hardwear issues just softwears bugs. But I have a lot of car softwears versions and I can switch them.
Example:
Alfa Romeo 147 2001 1.6TS 120 HP
Romeo v16 I can make the actuator test in door computer
Then till version Romeo v18.51 I cannot do this.
So till this last version I keeped in my Diagun PDA both versions of softwears.
The v16 and the last version in that moment. And I switch them when I need it.

I had issues trying to read 1998&2000 ford focus it lost communication often really hard to see what the ecu was seeing!

check with seller the coverage before buy diagun. there are more than 2 version diagun, one version cover only 9 marks without adaptor for older cars. i have friend got one of these, very dispointed. be careful!

Mate i have a Launch Diagun and I did this kind of procedures many times in many kind of cars.
But I hadn't oportunity to it in a Chrysler cars becasue in my country this kind of cars are few.
Diagun I can tell that it is good of this better then Autel. The problem it is that maybe you have Chrysler softwear which has bugs ( most of the Launch upgrades of Launch has bugs ) If you ca upgrade your tool ( if you have more then one version of softwear for Chrysler ) you can change the version of softwear and you can try.
Exemple: Renault softwear version v40.60 it is good and it cover all functions, then the versions 40.65, 40.66, 40.70, v40.75, have no all functions aviable.
Now it is 40.80 and i will check if it has all function or not.
So if you ahven't a genuine tool and you cannot download the upgrades whenever you want and you a bad luck to get in your Diagun configuration a version of car softwear that has bugs then you'll not be able to use that softwear at all its functions.
Thsi is the Big problem with Launch softwears.
