OK, here is solution. Download latest WinOLS Demo. Then use it for maps discovering. Now, take TunerPro (which is freeware) and rewrite that maps from WinOLS to TunerPro.

Hi everyone, I downloaded winols thinking it was a different version from the one I had downloaded who knows when. It was the same, the problem is that I cant make it work.

I running in XP. I installed it, pacht both files in the instructed order, registered the key successfully. in my first attemp to open it it said you must enter a key blablabla. I made the pachting procedure again, put a new key, but now it says key not valid every time :(

I dont remember how I did to make this soft work last year, my laptop died I now I cant make it anymore!!

Any help would be appreciated!

they are in pairs one main pair and one alternative but so much different each other. I can assume that one is for 95ron gazoline and the other for 98ron or one is for partthrotle ond the other for full throtle but i still can't understant which to change. Has anyone made a tune of such ecu what is the adress for main ignition map?

I found almost all (and corrected some of they) main maps for my 147 but... I need damos for better understanding of ECU file configuration and because of future remap results.
For example: Winols find 37 maps for my Alfa, but some important single value limiters doesn't find - in that case helpful could be this forum or damos, OK?

I had the same problem.

1. You have to uninstall WinOLS again.

2. Remove the armadillo keys in the register with Trialreset(Attachment 1).

3. Then change your keyboard language to English(UK). Restart windows

4. Install WinOLS again.

5. Then run the file OLS.bat after unpacking it (Attachment 2)

After you run the OLS.bat file WinOLS will start. But the next time you start WinOLS it is IMPORTANT that you are executing the file "loader_winols.1.500.exe" instead of the WinOLS.exe file.

And yes you can change your keyboard lang back to your default language after the install.

how I import damos file for vag 1.9tdi:giveup:

Open your Ori, go to Project (top bar) >ex & import > import damos or ASAP2.
shortcut is CTRL+D

Follow the instructions and point it to your damos. It will then check to see what info it can apply and tell you the maps it thinks it has found.

Remember to "Select All" and it will apply them.
Look at the larger maps and check it has placed them in the correct location, sotimes the files might have slight offsets which put the maps name onto the wrong map, or maybe just can be a byte out

- Install Winols1500 setup, if you have old version Winols please uninstall all.

- Copy loader_ols , reg.exe and loader_reg.exe file into Winols directory

- Run loader_reg.exe and enter below username & serial, confirm to exit.

(You should have this info)
Name: xxxxxx xxxxxx

Serial : xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-VD6962-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx

Then

- Run Loader_ols.exe and finished. You must use loader_ols.exe file for running Winols1500.
You can change name, icon etc. No problem

To be honest mate if your having trouble installing it , god only know how your going to use it .

No Cracked soft will work with not recognised malware...change to NOD32...it will show you the one which are dangerous to you...not the one needet to run soft.

Did u check in usermanual which function have scroll?

when I use keygen, no virus/trojan found (yet) but won't load dll

to use keygen, you need to generate separate key for ols.exe and "winols 1.500.exe" (I call it 1500 file for short in this post)

patch the files first, ols then 1500 BEFORE starting winols for the first time

I didn't take notes, but I think it's the 1500 file first, then ols, when you start winols for the first time. it will ask for name and key, and give a hardware key. I used "n00b" for the name, copy the hardware key to the keygen, select 1500 file from small menu on keygen, generate keygen, paste to screen asking for key.

then repeat for ols.exe, when asked for key again.

be nice if this worked with dll!! no trojans found, but the loaders have them!!

Windows is slow enough...this will create only problems finally.

If you dont thrust in soft you load from net use 2 different machines...as the work machines i use for diag and chiptuning i am running no virus scanner

Then on vs free pc...no loader problem,no deleted files by vs

First time when i installed winols i had the same problem, you can't calculate checksum and must go online because the dlls are not recognised. The problem is that your winols isn't correctly cracked. Try the crack proposed by znoki

That is not the bin file from the car, that is some sort of CMD file.
Do you have CMD slave?

It may say BDM 100, but that is the tool with BdmToGo software from EVC.
BDM100 reads files out in file.bdmtogo format.

That file above has CMD written in it at the start and bottom, so would be v1255 or something.

I think the hardware is the same, but different software.

A BDM is very simple, no need to but something expensive. EVC BDM100 doesn't need to be told what ECU, just connect it to anything and hit read.

When you saved the file, what type of file did it try to make?
Try read again, and try to choose different options, like just flash.

It might be a format just for Map3D, or a packed CMD file. Whatever it is, it has markers at the start and end for CMD, so it's not the flash contents.

Just look through you settings and it should work OK!

I had to use the normal keygen.

- plugins hasn't been loaded (conlict)

I have been using WinOLS 1500 for some time now trying to get to understand map editing and all the great features this program has to offer. I used the program yesterday for almost the entire day with no problems. This morning, i started up the program and when i select new project i get a black screen. Normally i get a dialog box asking if the file is 8 or 16 bit and then you select from where you are going to load the new project Here is a snapshot

Thus,i tried reinstalling the program several times, but still the same problem. I tried to run Trial Reset to remove the armadillo keys and start from scratch, but i cannot open the program as it was automatically blocked by my antivrius. I went ahead and uninstalled the anitvirus, but Trial Reset still does not work.

How can i manage to fix this so WinOLS will function properly as it had been for such a long time?

I just reinstalled and dragged a file onto the winols screen and it opens perfectly with no problem. I can then import another file to compare changes. Now, did i somehow without realizing disactivate the menu that enables you to select the original file when starting a new project?

I am also noticing that i get an ols.exe error in many occasions that i try to access the configuration option. WinOLS automatically shuts down when i select not to send a report to microsoft.


UPDATE: I have corrected the problem. I was able to get Trial Reset up and working. Then i went ahead and did a fresh installation of WinOLS and no more problems.
