Yes I had problems on a Civic.... There are two widthson these, I believe its the O type and the OL type,
if it cuts the neck at the bottom (not the depth cuts but the actual neck where you have no authority)
cuts too much (it wont work ) 02 Jazz fine... 06 CIVIC no good.

now there are two types of HOn66 cuts available on the Condor (but they cut the same)

Also VA2 - the Megane emergency blade,
you need to add depth to this cut,
I add about.35mm and then sometimes have to go back and add more otherwise the key wont fit.

Am I happy with my condor... Yes very much so far.
but you have to figure out the bugs (the update on mine helped a little)

about Volvo HU56R condor machine database the key thickness is 3mm and cutting depth is 1.25mm
but if fact,users key is different, thickness is 2.5mm and cutting depth is 1mm.
so users can use define key data first,named 'HU56R-1_U',later we will find a better solution.
1.connect PC to Condor machine
2.use attached software,sync'HU56R-1_U' to condor machine
3.select 'cut by bitting'---enter'HU56R'you will find HU56R-1_U,then cutting.
other key issue still testing and fixing,if users find machine not work well/find bugs/good advise post here/PM me.

When we put the key into the jaw, the jaw dont make prober pression and the key moves around.

It looks like the line it tells you is not inline with the clamp but slightly in... if not I assume the mini is like the xc007 and touches the tip of the key for alignment on most keys in which case just dont put it as far in.. simple

HU56R cutting is bad. HU56R key thickness is 3.5mm. Silca, JMA, Errebi keys thickness are 3.5 mm. Please check it.

hello samic i have a mini condor...im having a big problem for cutting keys for mercedes hu64 blade
it always cuts wrong..
i have tried also cut bitting still no luck
on diagram it shows place blade on m2 and close to line but, as you know the keys are narrow it can never align close to line always push itself back
i have tired cutting several hu64 no luck at all

rest is fine so far
only hu64 mercedes
please advice what to do,

Recently got the Condor Mini.
Seems good. However if the dust cover could have been designed a bit away from key it would've been nice. Currently the problem is most keys will touch on dust cover when cutting. Some key like VW Flip key cannot let the cover be closed. So if cover is open then what is the purpose of dust cover because dirt goes everywhere.

The database needs amended .. to show where in actual fact you put the key but its common sense really, it cannot clamp firmly if it is not a uniform width so either file the high spot of the key .. or do as suggested move it further back :)

the cuts on the top edge (as opposed to the side edge) have little cuts in them... (think half moon)
whilst the original key has a long low cut into it... in theory it should work, if depths are right...
But it doesn't work! And it wont decode either... Is there update soon Samic.

Little tip for all users.

I have machine with SN starting with KM02.

To cut keys HU92 BMW need to be in 1.00MM, when you select HU92 the device will ask you to chose between Land ravor and BMW, Land Rover came with 1.00mm and BMW with 1.25mm, if you try to cut with 1.25mm the key will not turn.

I have proved with 4 different machines and 3 different cars.

its probably not the probe being low enough but your key thats not high enough! these blades need spacers (unless the clamps are different on the mini)

HYN14 or HYN14R should work ok if your machine calibration ok,M1 clamp better use 1.5mm cutter.
if your machine still not work well,let me check the detailed parameters for you.

mate,this function for customer define key that the key without any detailed information currently.each key data need to measure by yourself.
the attachment file is sample about define key,mainly Chinese vehicles.(extract the file,'Import' to key data customize tool software)

Had a bash today. There is a small lip on the right side of the clamp. If the key is clamped under this lip it reads is perfect. Same effect as shimming.

There is an adapter to make renault card emergy keys.. Its a piece of steel who have the correct high.. just put above the key.. you can read and cut perfectly.

Hi there Guys.

I am having a problem with my Condor Mini.
I was trying to cut a Hyundai Accent Key with HY18R / HY18. After decoding the Screen would become white and the machine wouldn't do anything.
So I figured they might have an update for the machine.
I tried updating and it kept saying COMMUNICATION WITH SERVER FAILED (5).
Problem is now my machine is stuck on the bootup screen and I cannot use the machine.

Any solutions guys?

Creating a new key in the database is possible with the update software.
But the clamps are limiting some cutting depths.
It would be great if i could use the machine for tubular key cutting, and some house Keys.

3D Pro is another laser cutter, but honestly so far I'm loving the condor, I have been using it with regular keys today ford, Toyota, Chevy and Chrysler so far so good, my last stop was a GMC Sierra but the cutter depth was off. Need to learn how to adjust.

Iv tried to down load the v2.3.3 software off google but it downloads but just opens into folders nothing that can be opened and run. My old frame work downloader shows the newer versions in the right hand colum but if i click upload just runs the same 2.2.9 v. And when completed my machine still shows v 2.2.9 in the lower right hand corner . When I purchased my machine from the distributor i got no surport with my machine. Any help would be great .

I have connected the condor turned it on but how do I run the drivers like stated in step two ? if I click on custom tool in update section it opens up but I cant seem to sync or update my machine . do I need do anything with the driver folder in the download . this is stressing me out :c please help

Make sure that you have internet connection.
If needed, turn of virus scan and firewall.
Run program as administrator.


Turn on Condor.
Connect usb.
Press Synchronize.
This will activate the Condor.


Then press update,
Then update online,
Or choose update ofline, and load the v2.3.3 file from your computer.


The update will take about 20 minutes.

Yes @siyadk u r right i also own mini and the latest update is the v2.1.2 i confirmed with the dealer as well and he said the same as for 3.0 this depends on the serial number there is 2 versions of mini KM02 and KM03 so 2.1.2 is same as 3.1.3 its the serial number and manufacture code no any difference

A6 and Condor only cut carkeys. I would only pay more, if it could cut household Keys asswel.
Condor is giving US updates, and there is a big discount for condor owners, on there MB tool.
The laser key clamp on the condor is perfect.
$1100 , that is better spend on additional tools, or saved.
And if you are not dragging it around, get the 007 master.

A6 and Condor only cut carkeys. I would only pay more, if it could cut household Keys asswel.
Condor is giving US updates, and there is a big discount for condor owners, on there MB tool.
The laser key clamp on the condor is perfect.
$1100 , that is better spend on additional tools, or saved.
And if you are not dragging it around, get the 007 master.

The sound of the machine, will tell you that in need replacing.
I always use the lowest moving speed, and highest cutter speed. That saves the cutters.
And cutters are not that expensive anymore.

you have not placed the key 100%.... either whilst decoding or cutting.

but sometimes edge keys can decode wrong due to the probe being too big to touch right down to the cut ( probably not on ne72 though)

I have a problem with my condor master, 422312
The machine does not react to anything.
Calibration is written on the screen, and a + sign in the legt corner.
Pressing the + short or long does not help.
I updated the device online, hoping it would fix things.
I tried fix data error, and even fix internal error 1 and 2.
How can i fix this!

It looks like a touch screen calibration. Try to touch sign + with a touch screen pen which has smaller surface than your fingers.

Maybe low or high temperature causes this problem. Try to make again the calibration. If you touch it incorrectly maybe the calibration fails then starts again. I have another tool with touchscreen which has similar calibration. The big question is why are you seeing this screen. I hope you can solve it only with touching the sign +.

sounds like the touchscreen is registering random presses... could be the touchscreen is going faulty.

I would try getting a hair dryer and gently warming the screen even to make sure moisture is not causing a issue.

else remove the screen from the case and press around the edge in a certain place and try the touchscreen or even pack around the screen with paper or something to put pressure around the edge.

if you find a spot thats delaminating you can put some high temp tape over and use a soldering iron to slightly melt it, or soldering iron with lcd ribbon repair tip.

can't open your file... but had another look at the pics and you've entered the cut depths backward

I have big condor and tried downloading a version of the mini software but it still takes .u files... I removed the first 6 bytes from the file then it opens in the .u version.

Have you put the key as 4 track?

you have tip cuting at 5, this is 0.01mm so 5 is nothing, I woulld also have b on the first option set back like the top.

The flats should be 50 as per instacode.

Don't forget to set Cutter Axis Speed to Max and the Spindle speed to MIN. If your speed too high then it melts the plastic.

I have a problem with the HON66 Keys......

Is it me or is it these Computerised machines?

If I duplicate a key it works perfect as long as the key wafers aren't worn out (These wafer are problematic).
However if I cut a key from numbers on wafer inside lock (No Master key available) then I end up with a problem. The problem is that it seems that the last row (tip of key) wafers are cut as per the second row. Thus starting from the left of the going to the right, I have to drop the wafer on most right and then shift all wafers 1 position forward and match the most LEFT wafer with something else.
If I remember this lock has 6 wafers on each side. I enter the numbers exactly as found in the lock but when it cuts then it cuts the key with all the wafers moved up 1 position. Thus the 6th wafer it cuts according to position 5 wafer's depth.

Replace the file in your customkeytools with this file.
You can adapt the tickness, and internal with if neccasary.
And the shoulder, from position 1 to the keys head, is cut narrow.
You might not be able to do that with my file. So:
Precut a key, using the condors own hon66, A111111 b111111.
Then use the Hon66x key, and cut key.

If you could be bothered to read a thread about your tool you will very quick see the problem with the renault emergency blades...

Although I dont know why they dont take measurements from the blade and make sure everything is correct and it wont cut into the clamp.... real simple to do.

Another issue i was looking into, is i was told and under the impression that with the purchase of an XC mini i would receive 1 year free access to the Instacode live software. However i never received the activation code with my machine, and i don't seem to be making any progress on this matter with the seller.

yes these can have not a 100% seal or the seal delaminates slightly allowing moisture to enter.

really wants warming up to drive moister out and you could put glue or silicone or something around the edge avoiding getting any glue etc inbetween the layers.

Can't remember exactly but I did open to have a look at quality etc and I think the screens on these are off the shelf so probably could get a cheap replacement.

I would suggest both of you measure the thickness of the key - the edge where the prob is meant to touch (not overall key thickness).

It might appear that way, butt if you run the same Software version, it should be the same.
And the moving speed, in the settings: if you seth it to lowest, is there a slower calibration proces?
Conductivity tells the needle that it made contact, so that is a all or nothing thing.

More then a month ago my Condor master failed me.
The only bit off support, whas update software, which i allready used.
Then i asked them, if i could buy a new touchscreen. And i have heard nothing since.


So i have to say, Xhorse needs to do something.
If Samic or Condorsupport is not capable ennough to advice on repairs, then attleast they should us sell parts.

Usually, when I have been in such trouble(something burnet or failed) I send them video of the problem, then send them the failed part and they return me a replacement.
I suggest you to try this. Because their engineers, I mean the people who actually can support you, usually don't speak english and a video helps a lot. If you just send them questions in words it is harder for them to understand and probably it is hard for Samic to explain to them too(if he is still in the company). So they tend to postpone their replies for indefinite time...

Cut on hu64-3. Check blade size and input cuts manually. The angle from the first cut to the tip is different based on the length. Will work in the lock

Is it a dimple key: then no.
Otherwise you can creat a custom key file.

No its not a dimple . Milling style im not sure how to create a file as i dont have the measurements of
the depths as all i have is a key number and instacode doesnt list any thing

Here is your EU21P file.

Use the customkeytool.
Place this custom Eurolock file in the customkeyfolder.
Open the customkeytool.
Import the custom Eurolock file.
Then synchronize with your Condor.


You should check these measurements.
B: lenght from tip to shoulder 20mm
D: key blade thicknes 3mm
E: internal width 1.2mm


If these are incorrect. Right click on the custom-u in the define key data list.

Then place the about 1 mm towards tip.

I see, you have a mini Condor.
The clamp is different from the master condor.
If the settings on your machine are correct, and you have choosen the correct clamp and cutter.
Then it could be the key file.
There is a keycutsomtool for the mini condor.
You could create your own key file and load it by usb.

It is good to know how to use this customkeytool. Takes about 5min max.
There are probable a few more of these keys that give you troubles.
Or they dont excist yet.

And waiting for updates, is not a option for me.

Has anybody else had a problem loading the custom key files? I have the big condor and used the same software to update the software about a year ago, it connects to the machine and says they were able to synchronize but I can't find my custom key files anywhere.

Should I try to do it with a different computer or do the files not end up with the manufacturer I selected?

upload a video... also if you cut a key then decode straight away does it still decode wrong?

I tried with two original keys what I cleaned before decoding. The reading pin touched the keys at the correct positions however all value was far from the correct value.

I was in hurry I hadn't more time to play with it. I will try to decode the new key next time.

all blades from latest BE key type, on your picture right sample i cut as HU64-3 with function "cut by bitting" :listen:
and from all orig HU64 blades i read the code with my eyes only, because it is more faster then put the blade to Condor and await for his decoding ;)

for example this blade is from older black plastic case Year 2001-2006 models and have code 2122455422 ;) understand now ??? :)

Yes in usa all of the SUV use the 10 cut for hu100 key

I am having problems with the TOY41R (TOYO9). The machine tells you to line up the blank according to the shoulder.
However the machine seems to be sent to the wrong position for all the bits. It cutting too much to the shoulder of the key. All cut are way too back on the key. It's about 1 position too back. I had to then manually cut a section of the shoulder off and trim the front of the key and it works perfects on the lock then.
I tried KEY DECODE with a cut key and see that it is doing the same. The position is off. Also you will notice that on TOY41R the machine does not sense the tip of key as it would do with other keys such as TOY43.

Could somebody please check if their machine also having this problem on TOY41R (TOYO 9).

The toy41r is a shouldered key, the toy43 not, that is why it does not probe the tip.
For now, a solution might be, creating you own files with the custom key tool.
A trick, start the machines cut session, then after calibrating, pause session, and adjust the blanks position.
Or even before calibration, because this one does not probe the tip.

Sorry I have the Condor Mini K3.
When I press the pause it cancels the cutting unlike other keys which pause and you can swap out keys or whatever.
If I create a custom file, would it be saved on the machine or would I have to connect the laptop everytime I want to cut that time key?

Any custom files remains in your machine, until you update.
After any updates, you just need to synchronize 1 time using your customfiles.
Did you try to cut it as a DH4R?
