Dear makis, there are many types of ecu?s, ewery one is diferent... Immo files dont exist, we read data from chips, where is immo located (here is no only immo data) If you want to makink this job, you must some learnig...

There are many readers and programers, program to make immo off etc... I make this job (not only this job i?m automechanic) for 7 years, and i some still learning.

I have this tool but the error "UNIC Not Found" keeps coming up. Anyone knows how to solve this?

UNIC Not found is you that you have wrong SIM card inside IO Terminal that does not match your ECU brand that are you are trying to read.

I'm trying to read a FIAT BSI <2012 module, and SIM card is for the FIAT activation. I'm using the FIATBSIv9 tool for this is this correct? Because the multitool does it as well.

There is no installation guide on the main website.
Any troubleshooting guide would help.
I always ran V19 multitool.


Today i upgraded to V23, getting unic not find error.
When i press the update, on top of the menu.
Press read device id. And get: UNIC not found.

When i try to connect to vehicle:
Error : comm lib1 framework function CAN_TX_FRAME could not transmit CAN frame






I created a new file, C:\IOT_MULTITOOLV23
Then added my IDMON-NWCR00xxxx file to it.
Run driver as admin.
And run program as admin.
No virus scan.


My question, do i need to update the interface, and how?

I think i solved it. Plugged it in this morning. V23 running.


I created a new file, C:\IOT_MULTITOOLV23
Then added my IDMON-NWCR00xxxx file to it.
Run driver as admin.
And run program as admin.

I did not need to update the device, it seemed.

hello to everyone, have same probleme with volvo tool. i bought volvo tool and io terminal, sim card is inserted, but when trying to connect to dash module the error poped out every single time
Error : comm lib1 framework function CAN_TX_FRAME could not transmit CAN frame
My io terminal is HW 07, maybe im using wrong OBD cable, cause on it doesnt say volvo like i have seen on the net, my one is black, not a red one. confused what im doing wrong
