when there is no suffix the only one I have seen work is -595B

the admin password is generally the same as the master BIOS password providing it hasn't been changed by user, when changed by user then you have to find other ways like using software programs

dont worry dude, all sorted now... was typing in to wrong screen. typed into main bios and now all unlocked. cheers for your help.

make sure you are typing it exactly as given
when you enter it try Ctrl+Enter or Shift+Enter

password will only work if it is the original HDD

Can you tell me exactly which model of lappy you have and also the current BIOS version installed - it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen as the machine first boots and usually pre-fixed with an 'A'; eg: A01
