Connect is the same as Fiesta, AD100/MVP pro makes it easy and can see how many keys and clear. AVDI can also

Key is in relation with
BCM, PCM, ABS.....
Somtime need hour or two to add key

I tried today. Failed to clone with Vvdi key tool and handy baby. Then I tried with skp900, also failed.

What country are you in? Most in the US don’t have the transponder system enabled. The RHK keys are 40bit integrated 4D but can be converted to 80bit with the vvdi key tool to use either way. The remote system is OBP.

When they do have immo active here the keys are stored in the Smart Junction Box

I was copy 2015 or 2016 i don't remember with Handy-Baby. Online copy to a JMD G chip, with the pc connection program, under chinese Ford or something. 10 minute job

ad100 pro , mvp pro , smart pro from advanced diagnostics will all do this key by obd , as should abrites and the tdb1000 with ford software , you can just add a key with these machines .

2014-2016 immo in bcm.
and the 2017+ is bcm with nec D70F3637

So Paul, Get a tool that can simply OBD add the key in and thats the job done.. no need to read any eeprom data. As i've said MVP/AD100, Smart pro and even many of the chinese made tools do it..

No as the mvp clone has far older software on it than this has , an original mvp unit with smart dongle is needed or smart pro , the clone will do up to 2012 , but wont get near the 2016 model , without smart dongle and on some other machines that claim to do these it may be up to 5 hours to code key .
machines that can do these include

smart pro
abrites
tdb100 with ford software
zedfull

some china units like obdstar , skp900 and lonsdor claim to do them

but be aware , dependent on bcm fitted , it could be up to 5 hours with some machines if they succeed

suddenly doing a mate a favour may get expensive , where as if you have a friend with correct kit get them to help or pay a locksmith with the kit .

ON TOPIC:-

was talking to some locksmith from botswarnia, he mentioned something
about he was told unplugging bcm with battery on killed it.

ALso the guy said some ford update, if system locked by remote can't programme keys to it
he muttered one and only key gets locked in boot, 2 new keys and new bcm!

Hi. I just programmed two Transit 2017.

I used the ids. V12.5.
The first truck starts the vin with the number "1", it was programmed fast with the waiting time of 10 minutes.
The second begins the letter vin "W", this program as follows, access to pats, tells me that I need Internet access and have a username and password, I say yes and show error, now I open the page of ford PTS and I enter in Oasis, and entered the car vin, return to Ids and start the PATS procedure again, warns me that I need an internet connection and a username and password, I give enter, ids open a page in the browser and I'll accept it in page browser, return automaticalle to the ids, and start coding the duplicate. Ends correctly.

In conclusion the European transit need access to Ford PTS with valid username and password.
