Can anyone confirm that there is update built into this game?, as brother in laws wii chipped with 'drivekey' running at 3.4e.
I know if you update to 4.2 with drivekey in, mod is rendered useless.

Peeps say its ok on usb loader, no reports of it working on dvd yet! From looking around, i gather s/w must be 4.2e to play this one, anyone to confirm this 100%?

This will patch the ind-nsmb-pal.iso (New_Super_Mario_Bros_EUR_Wii-iND) image
in order to bypass the new copy protection and allow you to play from DVD or
USB Loader's
Instructions:
Auto Patch:
Extract "NEW_MARIO_BROS_Wii_FIX.PAR2" to the same folder as "ind-nsmb-pal.
if you have renamed the iso you must change it back before using the par2 file.
If you have quickpar (QuickPar for Windows (http://www.quickpar.org.uk/)) associated with *.Par/*.Par2
files just double click "NEW_MARIO_BROS_Wii_FIX.PAR2" after it has scanned the
iso choose to repair that's it :
Give me 5 mins to upload m8.

Try this Neogamma, it installs as a channel, put it on your sd card in the root, and launch it just like you have installed the other wads. Now go back to the main menu and it should be a channel now, saves running from SD card.
It should be a silverish channel, then go into options and enable 002 fix to on.
Not 100% sure if this is the right loader, let me know if it's not, I have that much $hite on my SD card .....
If the above doesnt work, here are some wads I have installed, please only try these if you have backed up your nand, I take no blame if your Wii goes (*)(*) up !!! BE CAREFUL PEEPS.

Poo's to Nintendo anyway, tried everythink i could to my ability.
Tried to fix with with wiiscrubber but when trying to replace main.dol, says not enough space, replaced he one in partition'1' and burnt to dvd but still no joy.
My buddy soft modded my wii on V4.2e for me, thinks it is cios 249 revision 14, dont no much about softmodding really.
One last question, if i buy the original, will it play or do any harm to my Wii?
Also thanks again to

Use wiiflow....
Use wfbs manager on your pc to put new super mario bros iso file on your usb flash drive.
Put wiiflo on your sd card and put it the sd slot of your wii.
Put your usb flash drive into the bottom slot of your wii at the back.
Load the Homebrew channel and select wiiflow 249.
Worked a treat for me...

I've put what you need on the root of your SD card here to download pal.
Just unrar it and copy it to the root of your SD, put SD in your Wii then run Homebrew channel.
You should get the option to select wiiflow 222 or 249, load 249 and your New Super Mario should run fine.
Make sure your Usb Flash Drive is in the BOTTOM slot of your Wii.
Let us know how you get on...

Hi peeps......
As the title I have just modded my 4.3e using the lego indy hack following the guide posted on the forums. Everything went as was described with no problems..... I "acquired" new super mario bros off net and burnt iso slowly to a ritek dvd-r..
My problem is that the game black screened on the second stage saying an error occured please remove the disc and reset the wii. I reset the unit and managed to load a saved game and progressed to the next level where it did the same?
Is this likeley to be the iso / wii / or discs that are the problem?
p.s. I burnt the disc on a mac using disc utility....
Many thanks for any help with this.
