Hi , I need help , I have a passat b6 year 2006 in my workshop and I have a problem with ABS-ESP system , I lost coding after battery changing , have someone the coding table for this vehicle ?

Yes , I have looked on ross-tech wiki , I often use it because I have an original vag-com , but in the abs page , under the line CODING I read " Currently, there is no coding information available for this module.
If the ABS Control module needs to be replaced, read and record the coding from the old module." , have you another way ?

Find a friend with a similar car. Or find a second-hand car and go for a test-drive pretending you want to buy it.
Then read out the coding on that abs.

Dont do like they say, you would need to provide the right code, otherwise the ABS ECU can become defect.
You will need to do a online coding, and or a guided coding using a original VAS tester.

You can not do that.
Dealer conect it to TELEdiagnos , and pull right data from central data base , just for that VIN.

What are you on??? Its dead easy to write and even rewrite the info required.
What are the numbers off the side of the unit and has it abs/asr fitted. Also what trouble codes are stored as i have yet to see one lose its coding because of a simple flat battery?

Hi, I have similar problem with my Passat B6 (3C) 2008 engine BLS, BlueMotion. There is fault in ABS / ESP unit, can not be cleared. I think the coding is wrong. Maby somebody have ABS unit with the same part number and soft version?

CAN Gateway is working OK, no fault codes in that unit, noone other unit inicate this problem. If I change coding for 000000, there is only 1 fault about wrong coding.

Need proper coding number. I've been looking in ECU database, there is one item but soft ver. os different and my ABS don't accept that coding.

I had a similar problem
A c3/passat 2007 came into my place and the abs module lost its coding without any reason.
Initially the code was 000001, I did some research and tried several codes copied from autoscans but none of them worked, (control module incorrectly coded).
The best and fastest way to find a solution is doing the SVM directly with a dealer but if you dont want this, Rosstech has support for licenced interfaces.
So I did an autoscan of the passat (which is attached), sent it to rosstech and they suggested me the coding: 46523
The "control module incorrectly coded" was gone but now the module was asking for a vacuum sensor "02543 Vacuum sensor for brake booster" but my passat wasnt equipped with that sensor.
The 46523 in binary would be 1011010110111011
The most significant bit value is 8192, so substracting 46523-8192=13755
13755 worked perfectly, so for sure the most significant bit enables or disables the needing of that sensor.

Sorry my mistake when I was writing... the most significant bit in that binary number is 32768, not 8192..... so the correct would be 46523-32768=13755
decimal to binary
46523d=1011010110111011b
each digit has its value (check binary to decimal conversion). the one at the very right is the least significant bit and the one at the very left is the most significan bit (MSB)

The image ends with 8th digit = 128 but the 16th digit would equal 32768..... and disable it would mean change the binary number to 0 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 1 0 1 1... and than number in decimal is 13755

hi please can you help to me i need coding for abs 3c0614109c c4440 v2. vin number is wvwzzz3cz8p095322. thanks in advance. yet one question i have 3 fault code in epb that is wrong veichle, ecu is not coded coding is 000057 veichle is equipted with hill holder and fault of basing settings is not performed. can you help to me. thanks in advance.
