Default Need to update my WII 4.2e

    Hello,
I have a soft mooded WII 4.2e and i need to update to 4.3, to play the game Naruto Shippuden : Dragon Blade Chronicles. The game dosn't work without the latest system update, and i cannot update my WII by online system update, because i risk to brick it.

If all you want to do is stop that message coming up, just install priiloader / preloader and enable, block online and disc updates in the hacks menu.

oops try this AnyTitle Deleter/AnyTitle Deleter MOD - WiiBrew put it in your apps folder and start homebrew with priiloader and delete a load of rubbish you dont wont untill you have more that enough blocks for the update, then try running it again

Default softmod 4.2u to 4.3u upgrade

    Hi,
Sorry about the noobness of this question. If I upgrade to 4.3u, will this brick my wii. I did 3 upgrades about a year ago & didn't print the directions; these directions are no longer available. I am using Configurable USB loader no web browser on wii... My shop channel is stating that i need to do a system upgrade to shop. My connect 24 is not on. Also it seems that i've messed up my homebrew trying to update it from the web-update.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

if you have done a online update then your mod will no doubt be screwed, and you will be on 4.3 check by clicking on the wii sign in bottom l/h corner and looking at the top r/h corner on the next screen.
if your on 4.3 and your homebrew channel is not working then your gonna need to follow this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-mod-157379/
if all you need to do is update the shop channel then follow this

Just registered here to try out this updater as i have done all other directions i can find to fix black ops online.
I am still getting an error i have read others have had.
I have the game running within ios249 on USBloadergx or configurableUSBloader and i have installed the ios 56 along with the new rev 20 shopping channel and have access to the current shopping channel and have been successfully able to download and play a demo through wii shopping channel on my 4.2u system but still have error with black ops online.
The error i have is that i can run the game fine but when I attempt to connect to multilayer to update it just sits there, connecting to Nintendo wifi forever, never gets to the option to download the update.
Other games i have that run nintendo wifi net like conduit and brawl are able to connect to wifi net fine but black ops still stuck.
So im going to try to update 4.2u to 4.3u and see if that changes anything.

Any other ideas or directions i may have missed would be greatly appreciated.

Here is verbatim the directions i followed to get my black ops to where it is now, like i said i get the game running fine and can acess shopping but still cant connect to Nintendo wifi within black ops.
All Directions enclosed below are credited to thier original posters and have been copied into this txt instead of outside links.

    donwload miixpress from my signature.
    extract it to c:\miixpress\
load it and type i do and hit ok
    clickk channels
choose wii region and choose shopping channel. miixpress will download correct ios56 to you.
    get Wiimod too.

load wiimod from hbc and you will get ahbprot enabled if you are using hbc 1.08.
then press right, and install ios56 first. after a successfull ios56 installation, install shopping channel wad.

If you dont have hbc 1.08, press left in wiimod and choose any ios 200+. then press right and install wads above as i described.

thats it,, let me know if worked
