    is it possable to use a Galletto 1250 Clone with 1260 Serial & Driver to Flash with windows 7 ?!

    I dont like to change to windows xp again...

    I guarantee it won't work with win 7
    If you want to use 1250 clone as 1260, you have to rewrite the FTDI chip inside or via usb cable with mcprog or simillar software. what you have to do is you just have so change it's serial number to a valid 1260 serial number

    yes it is possible to use 1250 with 1260 without reprograming just use this exe in 1260 software with your 1250 cable.

    it will work in vista 7 and xp

    hello everybody, i checked the entire post. I got a galletto 1260 clone with bi-color LED. I can't read or write on sirus 32, i tried drivers and programs mentioned here but nothin, maybe i`m doing something wrong. i checked the SN in the chip it is : "New_Serial.exe v1260 -> ID STRING "47514789" and i am getting the PORT error. the device is set on com 2. hope to hear ideas thx

    1. What windows are you using?
    2. Are you sure it's 1260, not 1250?
    3. try using this version of galletto 1260:

    ok tried the program still the "can't open port" or something error. I am using XP and on the interface it is written EOBD-1260 as i said in the FTDI chip is the 47.... serial. Still don't know how to solve the open port error.

    Try reinstalling drivers. Use drivers from the same installer.

    I have no mere more ideas because it's with LED and as far as i know it differs from those without LED. (I have the one without LED).

    Well interesting m8... Who made galletto 1260 cable? It didn't make itself and software didn't come out of nowhere... Maybe we really should ask them.
