what is best tool to read it in SAFE and then write data without issues?

Best is original tool but u can use clon Kess v2 or galletto v54 first unlock ecu then read/write trought obd

there is few post here where user says that kess v2 can brick ecu.
I would like to find out what tools are you use to unlock/read/write this ecu.

Kess or galetto can unlock this ecu or need other tool to do it?

I used fgtech V54 clone which worked 3 times out of 5 I've done the last two did not work ECU locked Brick useless no communication line can ecu defunct impossible to recover them, yet software fgtech message ECU unlocked OK. A tip is best to read 95640 and unlock.........

never no success, fgtech eu, Bricked , on this ecu, interested if kess clone v2 capable or also brick ecu ? if chances are slim, sooner turn away vag 1.6

I have done a number of pcr2.1 ecu's with fgtech eu clone without any issues.

With Kess you can read/write eeprom to make backup. In my case there was one ecu after update in 2014. Galletto couldn't unlock this ecu - after writing mod file car didn't start but there was no problem to write ori file. I recommend to use kess.

I had clone never had a one problem with it.done many pcr2.1 all worked ok for me.
Now i use ori fgtech but still have clone for s.....

All Geniune equipments are ok.
Some my friend with cloned equipemnt burned ecu, in particular with fgtech...

However you can post eeprom to unlock it...

Are u using a probe or soldering to the ecu

soldering the boot wire is very very hard in my opinion as very small, not impossible but i find difficult on the eyes

Meh ;] But remember to use thin elastic wire and do not damage the vias.

I need that ecu pinout looks like there is a problem with MAF but I want to check wires first.
getting a fault : maf signal high
swap maf but no different.

I have made hundreds of pcr 2.1 with galletto v53 china and galletto v54 Eu clone.
I have never met an issue.
But if you don't make the connections carefully then you can brick the ecu with any of the clone or original tools.
