    ok, order of flashing does matter?

    i searched for 18.2.0 AKP (polish), but without results. Is there only english version (for now)?

    What about internet connection during test/scan?

    loader from v6.1 is for 17.1.3 or it will be working with 18.2.0 too?

    Hi.
    The latest Polish version is 17.8.1. Works with Kolimers V 6.1.

    Hoping someone can help, (My first post!)

    I recently got the below cable and when I plugged it in and hit the test on 17.8.1 using Kolimars VCDS Loader, it already had the Unregister/Unauthorized tag in the about page. (The install was a clean install and had a blank about page before.) The test also said Interface: not found when it completed.

    I then used MProg and all looked indentical there, then using the HWType program I found out that it was HW type 0x46 and FW 1.96.
    When I tried to use the EEwrite program, it just said "not in bootloader mode"

    My question is, is there anything I can do to save this cable? And if there is, does "not in bootloader mode" mean I need to buy a programmer to reflash it?

    Thanks in advance

    It has been discussed multiple times about these interfaces.
    This is what can be done with them:
    -Return it to the seller and request for a refund;
    -Keep it for spare parts;
    -Give it as a gift for a neighbour teenager.

    If you want to use Kolimer's dumps, you need a quality interface which contains ATmega162 chip. It has also been posted in the thread on where to buy such ones.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Just my luck!

    One last question, I have another cable, (Bought it ages ago and goosed it when I let the laptop connect to the internet). Is this one suitable for use with Kolimers dumps? it looks like an atmega162.

    When I run the HWType program, it wont give any feedback, but I can read the cable on MProg. It is also showing the Unregistered/Unauthorized tag in the about page, but it did work originally.

    Apologies for rookie questions.

    One again, Thanks in advance.

    That's good news, so I can just connect this to a USBASP as detailed in previous pages and use the Kolimar 6.3 dumps on it? Then it should work with 17.8.1?

    Does it matter that the HWType Program cant read it and give me a HW type?

    I think that is a fake V2 interface, same as mine. Did it ever work with the supplied CD software? Try using it without a loader software. The one I have works with the official software but it has problems with communication at times.

    This interface is good quality one. It will work perfectly with Kolimer's. In order for HWType to work, the interface needs to be powered up.
    Also, I guess you will be able to reflash it to Kolimer's even without the need to connect USBASP. Just power it up and use HW_Write tool. It's HW46 type.

    License status doesn't mean anything. In fact, it means nothing. While it might show "everything is green" in fact the interface might (most likely will) not perform functions correctly. Ro$$ is getting smarter too

    I just tried the first cable with the original software (on an air gapped laptop) and it has worked! So I was able to do the adaptation that I needed to do (Injector coding).

    As for the first cable, Ill give the Write tool a go and see what it says and let you know.

    Once again, everyone, thank you for all your help!
