KT200 and EDC16cp34

Hi someone tested edc16cp34 with KT200? I'm stuck with this ecu on a6 4f 2.7tdi. Ktag clone not let me write mod file and on full backup read i get checksum error at the end of the read. Before i done with this tool some edc16cp34 and get zero problems. When i try to write ori flash read back to ecu, then i get checksum error at start of writing. I thinking about buying KT200, maybe it will be a better tool.

Yes it can write edc16c34 without opening ecu. Tested on many 16c34 psa.

edc16c34 is psa, but edc16cp34 was vag group the guy ask for cp34 vag

There is already moded file in it, but now i want remove some dtc. Thats all...

Ok! I will buy it now. I hope kt200 will be better than my ktag. Maybe you have experience with FC200? This as i know is better and safer choice but it probably not do vag edc16 only edc17.

This ecu can read with kess/mpps/kt200 obd not need to open cover

Read/write it with Kess. Sometimes you have to set a lower speed in the specials tab.

I tryed with kess first, nothing. Read ok and not let me write back mod an even readed file. I dont remember what error i have with kess- checksum or somting like that. Only then i opened ecu and tryed with ktag and get the same result. On ktag i get this at the end of full backup read "checksum error send the software vendor the backup file"

No :( Only Kess, KTag. This is the major reason why i want to buy another good inexpensive tool but dont know which one is the best choice. Then on situations like this i can play with one and then with other programmer. I found that can be because ecu has allready ramaped and that is the reason why kess, ktag cant do this ecu. I do a4 with the same engine and ecu with stock without problems some time ago.

I have KT200, KTag,kess,mpps.
And KT200 is good to bench with :)
No need to open ecu on many ecus, worth the price.
But if you have money for genuine, that will be best ofc.
Im about to buy genuine, but i think the clones will be here aswell.

It will mate, 5tuning from friends that dont always want free tuning but cheaper = The tool is free :)

The KT200 is a passable tool, for what it's worth

I tried obd: kess clone OK, mpps clone OK. autotuner Ok
Bench: Autotuner not OK. Only sworks for few hw versions. KT 200 read eeprom a extflash but can NOT read micro. New genius works ok.
Open: ktag clone work perfect

I also have KT200 from ecuhelpshop.com, tested it on EDC16C34 PSA full read/write ok.
